1989 International 4900 truck chassis with mounted SRECO Sewer jet set up and body on the back. It was bought new by the City and has always been kept indoors. The sewer jet side of the unit is worn out , the water tank is heavily scaled inside , the pump is going to need to be gone through , rebuilt or replaced, and the sheet metal body on the rear of the truck is rusting out.. The truck itself is a different story. This one is a Must See! The cab and frame of the truck are like new with no rust! This one has a 12,000 lb rated front axle, and a 19,000 lb rated rear for a 31,000 lb rated GVWR. The truck has only 14,389 original miles on it. It has a 210 HP IH DT466 Diesel engine and 5 speed manual transmission. After 35 years this unit may be close to needing a clutch. This is a Pre -Emission, mechanical Diesel engine with literally no electronics. Starts and runs like a new one. Please note this truck is geared for a top speed of about 60 MPH. Truck has a crankshaft driven, front mounted, external hydraulic pump for truck hydraulics with an oil cooler. It would make a great flatbed or contractor sized dump truck. All tires and wheels have been upgraded to radial R22.5's and are in excellent condition at 95% tread or better. Virgin rubber on the front and Bandag recaps on the rear. The truck has been serviced and has had new batteries installed in the last 200 miles. Truck starts, runs and drives great. This truck has been fleet maintained since new.
