Janet Sullivan, the grand Dame of many evolving activities, especially quality art in Northwest Indiana. Janet Sullivan & husband Bud moved to rural Valparaiso in the 60's where she left as an art teacher with Chicago Public Schools. Fast forward, Janet created the Art Barn School of Art, for all, you don't have to be an artist to take classes - kid's art projects, hundreds attending a Sun Flower Festival. Intensive art classes are available this summer, a juried art show happens each May.

This past spring we lost our inspiring Janet just 2 months shy of age 95. Janet would be the first to acknowledge life re-evolves so our skilled estate sales crew are selling her personal property contents. For me, Janet Sullivan was a friend who I've been invigorated and inspired by since the 70's when cows were in what was to become the colorful and full of activity Art Barn School of Art. Make sure you also get a look inside the Art Barn, enjoy relaxing countryside view and possibly hear her donkey bray at you for a carrot.

A sign-up entry order call off list, is placed in the front entrance driveway or sidewalk by 9 a.m. opening day Thursday. It's usually on a lawn chair inside a plastic bag. No warranties or guarantees. You must rely on your own personal inspection. Not responsible for accidents or injury. Always watch your step & your head. We don't carry. Bring your own labor who will carefully move items out of the home and off the property. Make sure to watch when moving items that floors aren't scratched and keep distance from walls so they're not touched. Please respect neighbors & not block mail boxes or driveways, or park so far off road to ruffle or rut neighbor's grass. Please don't flip cigarette butts in yard, street, driveway or really anywhere, only in receptacle.
