The auction presents a comprehensive collection of antique Maytag washing machines and engines. A rare Maytag Model 72 experimental engine, documented as one of 100 experimental units manufactured, features the brand's twin cylinder design. A vintage Maytag wringer washing machine includes a unique Fruit Jar gas-powered engine with cast iron wringer mechanism and metal tub with glass viewing panel. Other Maytag offerings include a Model 72D Multi-Motor with Jerome Simer pump, a gasoline engine with Wico magneto and kick-start twin cylinder configuration, and a wooden tub washing machine with manual wringer.

Collectors will find a Model 56 miniature apartment-sized Maytag washer produced between August and December 1921, documented as one of only 212 units manufactured. The machine features a hand crank and integrated wringer mechanism in its original finish. Also of interest is a Maytag washing machine with an attached Enterprise meat grinder and a Maytag advertising sign for aluminum washers made of sheet metal with wooden framing.

The engine collection extends beyond Maytag to include a 1½ HP upright gas engine with red cast iron base and blue flywheel marked "S-588" and "S-15." A Bessemer upright engine showing evidence of use completes the selection of power equipment.

For maintenance and field work, the auction includes attachments such as a Northern Tool NorTrac 3-point snowblower with 50-inch blower width and manual-crank chute that rotates 340 degrees. The snowblower features a 5-position adjustable chute deflector and is designed for tractors in the 16-35 HP range.

This auction primarily focuses on farm equipment and antique engines, with the Maytag collection being particularly notable for its rare and historically significant examples from a company known for its long manufacturing history in Newton, Iowa.
