Alderfer Auction presents a 2-Day Collectors Auction. Day 1 features an incredible Franklin Mint sterling silver collection including commemorative medals, ingots, and specialized sets. Notable offerings include the complete History of Flight series of 100 medals (1973-1977), the Genius of Michelangelo series, and Norman Rockwell's Fondest Memories collection. The auction includes several presidential commemorative series, Shakespeare medals, and themed collections featuring American history, space exploration, and transportation. Many sets are accompanied by their original documentation and presentation cases. The session presents both individual medals and complete collections, with some items being from limited mintages, particularly from the 1970s. Beyond Franklin Mint pieces, the auction includes investment-grade bullion, gold coins, and Krugerrands.

Read Before Bidding | Live Online Auctions
Auction will be open at alderferauction.com for pre-bidding approximately two weeks before auction date until Wednesday, January 22nd at 10:00 AM, at which time pre-bidding will cease and the auction will go live at the auction center (no live audience, just our auctioneer and auction staff). When the auction goes live, lots will be sold one at a time, in numerical order, by a live auctioneer who will be taking bids from multiple online bidding platforms, absentee and phone bids. During pre-bidding you are able to submit a max (maximum) bid. The bidding platform or our auction staff will bid on your behalf up to the maximum bid that you have entered. Once the auction goes live if you wish to increase your bid you will have to wait until that lot opens for bidding and enter any additional bids manually.
