1977 SHIELD SAILBOAT, VINDEX, WAS PURCHASED FROM CAPE CODE SHIPBUILDERS IN 1977 AND WAS A REGULAR IN THE NEWPORT RI SHEILDS RACING FLEET THROUGH 2018.
ORIGINAL DECK WITH ALL NATURAL TEAK SEATS, RAILS AND COMINGS.
THE WHITE HULLS ARE SOLID.
THE FAIRED KEEL AND RUDDER ARE FINISHED WITH REGATTA.
RIGGING IS COMPLETE WITH MAST, BOOM AND SPINNAKER POLE ALONG WITH TWO MAINSAILS, TWO JIBS, AND A SPINAKER.
THE BOAT SITES ON A CUSTOM BUILT STEEL CRADLE WITH STEEL WHEELS AND ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS.
THE BOAT AND CRADLE ARE SOLD AS ONE UNIT.
