This holiday season, elevate your celebrations with a collection that transforms walls and hearts alike—all while making a difference in the community. “Art Lover’s Paradise” brings together a curated selection of abstract, contemporary, and gallery-quality works designed to inspire, captivate, and create lasting memories. A portion of the proceeds from this auction will benefit three impactful local charities: d’Art Center, Honor & Remember, the Conch Republic Marine Army, and Seton Youth Services. From the intricate beauty of Tack Chung’s “Chinese Celestial Musicians” to the dreamlike textures of Gloria Rosenthal’s “Abstract Flowers”, this auction offers pieces that are more than just decor—they’re experiences waiting to happen. Each work tells a story, making them the perfect gift for someone special or a remarkable addition to your own collection. This is your chance to acquire art that does more than fill a space—it defines it. Whether you’re drawn to the soft elegance of Ruth Wilcox’s “Olive Tree”, the rich abstraction of “Dockside”, or the timeless craftsmanship of Karin Schaefers’ “Three Women Playing Music”, you’ll find pieces that speak to every taste and style. With starting bids as low as $6, art has never been more accessible. This is your opportunity to make a statement, whether it’s under the tree or above the mantel—and to support three incredible causes that uplift creativity, honor sacrifice, and provide hope to those in crisis. Event Details: This auction will be held online exclusively on the Blue Box Bidding Platform. Date: December 8, 2024 Shipping is available worldwide; shipping charges will be invoiced separately. All sales follow the auction terms & conditions. About the Charities
As Norfolk’s community art center, d’Art Center proudly serves the greater Hampton Roads area by connecting the community with the visual arts. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, d’Art offers youth and adult art education, exhibits featuring local and national artists, programming and outreach in public spaces, and events that showcase the talents of local ceramicists, sculptors, fiber artists, and woodworkers.
Honor & Remember is dedicated to perpetually recognizing the sacrifice of America’s military fallen service members and their families. Through its Honor and Remember Flag, the organization provides a tangible, visible reminder of lives lost in defense of national freedoms. Spanning all branches of service and all wars or conflicts since the nation’s inception, their mission is to establish a national symbol of gratitude, educate communities, honor the fallen, and provide comfort to grieving families.
Serving teens in crisis across Southside Hampton Roads, Seton Youth Services offers a safe haven, counseling, and outreach services 24 hours a day at no charge. Their mission is to reunite families and support youth through compassionate care and innovative programs. Seton Youth Services is a beacon of hope for teens and families, providing critical assistance when it’s needed most.
Formed in the wake of Hurricane Irma in 2017, the Conch Republic Marine Army is dedicated to restoring and protecting the fragile marine habitats of the Florida Keys. This grassroots organization began with a mission to remove debris and trash from mangrove shorelines devastated by the storm, addressing the catastrophic impact on these vital ecosystems. The CRMA operates weekly volunteer trips to recover hundreds of pounds of debris from the backcountry waters, benefitting the countless marine species that depend on mangroves as nurseries.
