(4) 2015 & 2016 Peterbilt 320 Side Loader Garbage Trucks

The City of Mobile, Alabama is offering four 2015 and 2016 Peterbilt 320 side loader, cab-over-engine, 8.9L L6 diesel garbage trucks.

2015 White Peterbilt 320 Side Loader Garbage Truck, LOT#176-5565

Automatic transmission. Starts and runs with boost, however TOWING RECOMMENDED. Brakes hold occasionally without engaging. A/C and heater operational. Has cruise. No power seats. No power door locks. Has power windows. Right side window inoperable. Engine derate light is on. Water-in-Fuel light is on. Exhaust pressure light is on. ABS light is on. Interior panels are loose or missing. Packer system continuously sticks. New Way system has hydraulic leaks and needs repair for operation.

Exterior has scratches, dents, and rust. Tires in fair condition. Light system operational, however some lights are broken. Windshield is cracked. Headlights, brake lights, and turn signals operational. Rear flasher is missing. Rear strobe light operational. Reverse camera is inoperable.

2015 White Peterbilt 320 Side Loader Garbage Truck, LOT#176-5533

Automatic transmission. Starts, with a boost and runs, and is drivable, ENGINE OVERHEATS, no power door locks. Has power windows. Dash condition is fair. Defrost light is on. Check engine light is on. Engine overheats.

Unit was driven to yard, but overheated on the way and will overheat while idling. No diagnosis on why it’s overheating. City will not attempt to determine the cause of the overheating.

Exterior has scratches, dents, and rust. Headlights and turn signals operational. Brake lights have been removed. Lighting system is operational, however some lights are out. New Way 31 CYD side loader packer sticking when taken out of service, and has hydraulic leaks; will need repair.

2016 White Peterbilt 320 Side Loader Garbage Truck, LOT#176-5529

Automatic transmission. Does not start. Was towed to auction yard WILL NEED TOWING. Brakes are not building up pressure. Not known whether A/C or heater operational. Has cruise. No power seats or power door locks. Has power windows. Poor interior condition.

Exterior scratches, dents, and rust. Poor tire condition. Unknown whether headlights, brake lights, or turn signals work. Windshield chipped. Mud flap missing on right rear wheel. Drive shaft detached from rear axle and hanging. Packer and arm issues on New Way side of unit. Side-loader side will need repairs before operable. Hydraulic leaks.

2015 White Peterbilt 320 Side Loader Garbage Truck, LOT#176-5534

Automatic transmission. Started and ran and was driven to the yard, however when being evaluated, we were unable to get the truck to start. this truck as been sitting for some time, appx 6 months. When driven to the yard it had low power. Since it would not start during evaluation buyer will need to tow from auction yard. City will not attempt to determine the source of the no start.

Unknown whether A/C and heater operational. Has cruise. No power seats. No power door locks. Has power windows. ABS light is on. Low-coolant light is on. Interior panels loose. Steering wheel panel broken. Complete interior dash in poor condition. Right seat fabric worn and detached.

Unknown what parts may be missing.

Exterior has scratches, dents, and rust. Windshield chipped. Front bumper is detached. Tires in poor condition. Front pump has been removed. Right-side hydraulic valve has been removed. New Way side loader is inoperable. Right-side lights operational. Left-side and rear lights are inoperable.
