Known mechanical/operational issues - The steering issues appear to be from worn out control linkages. As for the boat taking on water, the boat recently had all the water logged foam removed and new foam installed but it is believed that a cut in the hull somewhere is a possible place the water could be getting in. Also, the foam compartments are separate from the bilge of the boat, so it's possible the foam compartments are fine and there is a just a leak into the bilge somewhere.
