Bidding
1. By placing a bid you accept the terms of sale 2. Any lot may be withdrawn at any time 3. Lots are sold at one advance over the second highest bid 4. All lots are sold for the hammer price plus a 15% buyer's commission 5. Grading is our opinion, please see photos before bidding. Coins are guaranteed authentic, however grades are not guaranteed in any way. Payment 1. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and will be shipped upon payment 2. Shipping will be by USPS or UPS at cost + $3.25 handling per package 3. Successful bidders agree to pay for their purchases. No credit is extended without prior agreement and overdue accounts will be charged 2% per month interest after 30 days. 4. Virginia residents and in-person bidders must pay 5.3% state sales tax 5. There is a 2.5% processing fee added to the invoice total for Credit Card payments Returns 1. Welcome to our special Russia online stamp auction! This fantastic 1860s-1940s single owner collection of stamps and covers was all collected by a Russian citizen that emigrated to the US in the 1920s to escape the Russian Revolution.
With many items collected directly from Russia there is strength in the late Empire through Lenin era with many scarcely seen varieties and specialty items in addition to a comprehensive general issues collection Mint and Used.
This collection has been safely stored since the original collector's passing by his family and virtually all stamps are fresh in excellent condition.
Lots are available for viewing in our offices and please let us know if you need more photos, more information about a lot, or would like to submit bids directly to us by phone, email or mail.
All lots will sell ending on Saturday afternoon on a staggered basis (the time will count down to 0) and a late bid will extend the time for that lot. If you bid on an item in the last few minutes it will extend bidding on that lot by 1 minute to try and minimize last-second sniping and also balance against overly extending bidding too long.
