TINIUS OLSEN Super “L” Universal Testing Machine with 602 remote retrofit 400,000 lbs Capacity.

This machine is fully operational mechanically, but the software is no longer supported.

This is being sold AS IS and IN PLACE. Note: The safety cage is not included in the sale!

Note from the CECM department:

“It is a 400,000lb Tinius Olsen Super-L Universal testing machine circ. 1973. It was updated to a computerized system around 2008-2010. The current controller is functional but it now obsolete from T.O. This unit was mainly used for compression testing concrete cylinders in the Civil Engineering and Construction Management programs. Replacement due to purchase of new machine”

Removal instructions addendum: This machine is due to be replaced in Oct/Nov. If buyer would like to wait until then for removal (after payment received) that's fine. The cost of removal would be built into the install of new equipment, If buyer would like to take possession prior to then, it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay for that service. Schedule timing through our office.
