Jesse James Artifact:  Long time Clay County family's Antique ‘Patent Rocker’ that came over on covered wagon can boast not only lulling over 4 generations of babies asleep but also has a charming story of once upon a time their 18 year old neighbor Jesse James rocked in the chair while consuming some freshly baked Squash Pie and milk made by “Aunt Mary” and avoiding Union Patrol Soldiers.  Newspaper clipping included with chair, including how close it came to being destroyed in a fire.
