Listing Information

This home is loaded with local history from Paris, Redmon & Chrisman, especially the Scott, Graham, McGill, Davidson, Clapp, Warmouth families. Come see ephemera aplenty, including antique/vintage advertising, letters, documents, greeting cards, photos, and so much more -- an entire room full!

There is a remarkable collection of WWI & WWII memorabilia including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and extensive provenance from the brave service of the family's veterans. The mother of the Purple Heart recipient received a letter recounting the battle in which her son Paul R. Scott died and kind words of sympathy from Henry L. Stimson, Secretary of War, along with a 48-star American flag. Other correspondence from fellow soldiers, CO's, a chaplain and the soldier himself tell the complete story.

We have a very rare, working Musser Copernican Planetarium Model 500circa 1962. Built for the Seattle World's Fair, this fantastic electric orrery is the classroom model which was acquired from a college in California. It looks like something from Lost in Space or Star Trek. What a find!
