We are NOT responsible for accidents. By entering the premises you accept all responsibility for your personal safety. Always watch your step and take care. Watch for caution tape and "take care" caution signs as well as informational signs and posted terms of sale. Attendees must take personal responsibility for proper Covid 19 and seasonal flu precautions.
We provide sold tags at the front and available from staffers for the Sunday morning opening "rush" for your convenience or feel free to bring your own with your name on them. Please write your name clearly on the sold tags, tag your desired item and leave it in place or hand to a staff member to take to cashier's holding tables for you. We'll take the info on large furniture items to the cashier for you. You will need a receipt to pick up the furniture. All valuable smalls will be bagged and taken to the cashier holding for you by our staff. Leave in place for us to collect for you. All jewelry, and small valuables must be bagged with your name by an assistant and we will take to holding for you. If books , prints, paper are not priced on the outside, they are priced in pencil just inside cover to preserve the book or on the back.
No discounts usually the first day. Large $ purchases., please feel free to talk to us about a discount. Reasonable offers welcome by bid box or speaking with us last day of sale. . Everything is priced to move quickly.
You are welcome and encouraged to leave a BID on the first day (& 2nd day of a 3 day sale), on items you are interested in. We do not accept bids under half. Bid boxes and bid sheets are available several places in the home for your convenience. the last day is our fun discount day where all is negotiable and much at half price.
Security is in place in the home and by our staff, theft is strongly prosecuted. Please leave large bags, baskets, and overcoats at home or in your car. Tag large furniture and items with a sold tag and your name or ask for assistance. We will deliver the info to the cashier. Check to make sure all your items are there when you check out. You will need your receipt to remove large pieces. YOU are responsible for moving and delivery of your items. Some Highlights of the Mid-Century Contents:

Personal Collection of the Art of Carol Steichen Dumond, Dr. Don Dumond, and compatriot artists

Personal Collection of Japanese and Mexican Mid-century and older furnishings, accents, lighting, and art collected in their travels. Priced to sell in one day as Museum is converting home to a lab.  I’m missing so much of the unique items offered in the list. Much of the contents have personal Dumond Documentation (Provenance). Note: Premises are monitored by U of O and an alarm system.

Extensive Collection of Japanese period folk art Mahiko pottery personally purchased while stationed in Tokyo (early 50s) including a few pieces identified as the work of Master Potter & "National Treasure of Japan" Shoji Hamada.  Fine antique Japanese Satsuma and porcelains. Japanese netuke, bronze, carvings etc.

Extensive collection of Mexican pottery cookware from Mid Century including redware, yellowware to highly prized Talebara Poblana and Mole (Majolica) pottery, and hand-crafted elaborate tiles. 

Mid Century Furnishings, art, and accents including craftsman pieces, pine dressers, bamboo, wicker, rattan chairs, stools, basketry. Scarce hard to find Mid-Century Japanese table lamps and hanging lamps. Folk art folding stools. Period beautiful lacquerware.  Mid century working range and refrigerator. Vintage housewares, lots!. 2 gorgeous burl slabs, Craftsman pantry doors with Mexican inlaid stone hardware. Collectible vintage antique advertising wooden boxes, great hinged storage boxes that would be great painted and repurposed as end stands with storage. A unique antique gas meter converted to a lamp with ball shade. Antique and vintage marbles, cut mineral stone beads and cubes. Basketry and accents. 

Japanese watercolors, textiles and etchings, original historic antique etchings and engravings of Oregon and Alaska, very old bronze, bone and jade netsuke as well as other antique accents. Unique antique celadon Japanese wolverine sake bottle with original top, carved tiny amber fish. Bamboo window blinds.

Cut and polished beautiful onyx slabs, and other stone accents from their personal collection.

Lots of hand tools, survey tools, archeology tools, craftsman tools. Adjustable drafting table with reversible chalkboard/hardtops. Don’s darkroom supplies, vintage bottles, vintage pristine collectible electronics with original papers.  2 vintage fishing reels, wooden ammo box, fishing floats. Vintage-antique glass pulls.

Vintage mid-century materials including unused amazing unused Mexican Serapes, a large silk yardage beautifully patterned, and a gorgeous large cross stitch embroidered roses tablecloth and napkins.  Carol was a designer so lots of vintage sewing and sewing supplies.
