We have some truly unique U of I historical pieces. An Antique sculpture stand from the home of James Lechay most likely from his friend and fellow teacher Humbert Albrizio. He came to teach at Iowa in 1945 at the suggestion of his friend Philip Guston. There he joined a group assembled by art department chairman Lester Longman. The group included Mauricio Lasansky, Humbert Albrizio, Carl Fracassini, and Byron Burford, among others. Lechay remained on the art faculty till 1975. We also have an antique diaper pail that Lechay used for used oil painting cloths. Framed art photographs from local known artist Warren Paris.

With the 3 yd bundle you can make a throw/crib size quilt if you use 1 bundle, if you use 2 or 3 you can expand to a twin or up to a king size. You will still need a backing. We have pillowcase and table runner kits that were $10 and are now $6.

Ever-sewn Sparrow 20 is a computerized model for ambitious sewers. The stitch package includes 80 stitches with a generous maximum stitch width of 7 mm and 15 needle positions. The practical start/stop function lets you control the stitching process without using the foot pedal. The needle position up/down function allows you to specify the needle position at the end of a row of stitching – a big advantage when stitching corners.
