The Groves Road Depot now has the capability to send invoice's to be paid online through the buyer's E-mail. Anyone unable to pickup on the designated pickup date will be issued a invoice to be paid within 48 hours after the pickup date. Any invoice's not paid by the designated time will be canceled and the items resold or returned to the original owner. Due to limited space and the increase of buyers waiting to pick there items up within 7 business days of the auction, the Groves Road Depot will start assessing a processing fee ranging from $1 to $5 dollars depending on the size or quantity of items. Maria Callas was an American-born Greek soprano and one of the most renowned and influential opera singers of the 20th century. 77. A group of two trinket boxes. The chair trinket box is 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" long. The white trinket box with a floral design on the top is approx. 1 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" long, and 1 1/2” wide. 78. A group of three antique leather postcards with one having a hand written date of 1906. It was particularly popular during the latter part of the 19th century for ladies to create hand crafts using this technique. This process was often also referred to as pokerwork. Beginning in about 1904, leather postcards decorated using pyrography became a popular novelty. The cards can be as simple as a piece of leather burned by an individual in their own home to production line pieces stamped in a heat press. Some leather post cards are even inked, and not burned at all. After a decade, though, the excitement diminished and the fad had nearly disappeared by 1915. Throughout their short appearance in our postal history, though, the leather postcard had great influence. 79. A group of antique, early 1900’s Holiday postcards all from Czech Republic. The Groves Road Depot now has the capability to send invoice's to be paid online through the buyer's E-mail. Maria Callas was an American-born Greek soprano and one of the most renowned and influential opera singers of the 20th century. 77. A group of two trinket boxes. The chair trinket box is 3 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" long. The white trinket box with a floral design on the top is approx. 1 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" long, and 1 1/2” wide. 78. A group of three antique leather postcards with one having a hand written date of 1906. It was particularly popular during the latter part of the 19th century for ladies to create hand crafts using this technique. This process was often also referred to as pokerwork. Beginning in about 1904, leather postcards decorated using pyrography became a popular novelty. The cards can be as simple as a piece of leather burned by an individual in their own home to production line pieces stamped in a heat press. Some leather post cards are even inked, and not burned at all. After a decade, though, the excitement diminished and the fad had nearly disappeared by 1915. The Groves Road Depot now has the capability to send invoice's to be paid online through the buyer's E-mail. Anyone unable to pickup on the designated pickup date will be issued a invoice to be paid within 48 hours after the pickup date. Any invoice's not paid by the designated time will be canceled and the items resold or returned to the original owner. Due to limited space and the increase of buyers waiting to pick there items up within 7 business days of the auction, the Groves Road Depot will start assessing a processing fee ranging from $1 to $5 dollars depending on the size or quantity of items. It was particularly popular during the latter part of the 19th century for ladies to create hand crafts using this technique. This process was often also referred to as pokerwork. Beginning in about 1904, leather postcards decorated using pyrography became a popular novelty. The cards can be as simple as a piece of leather burned by an individual in their own home to production line pieces stamped in a heat press. Some leather post cards are even inked, and not burned at all. After a decade, though, the excitement diminished and the fad had nearly disappeared by 1915. Throughout their short appearance in our postal history, though, the leather postcard had great influence. 79. A group of antique, early 1900’s Holiday postcards all from Czech Republic.
