SEALED BID ONLY AUCTION OFFICE BUILDING MITCHELL SCHOOL CORPORATION BIDS DUE BY MONDAY AUGUST 14TH 3:00 P.M.
The Mitchell Community School Corporation is accepting bids for a used office building. Building is approximately 1100 square feet, with electric and central air ductwork. Building does not have plumbing. This building was used as an alternative school classroom and most recently an office during a school renovation project and includes a handicap accessible wheelchair ramp as well as an AC / Heat Pump unit.
This building is in great condition and has many possibilities. Winning bidder will be responsible for all dismantling and removal of building and materials. School will disconnect electric after bid is accepted and school and bidder have discussed a time to start removal and disconnection of electric.
Submitted bids must include the full name, address, and phone number of the individual or company as well as the amount of your bid. Also, a short description of how the building will be removed i.e. company hired to remove or doing all work on own. PLEASE PUT “BUILDING BID” ON OUTSIDE ENVELOPE

Phone bids or email bids will not be accepted. This will not be a live auction. Only sealed bids submitted to the central office will be accepted. Bids will be opened on August 14th at the monthly board meeting by school board members. Highest bid will be considered the winning bidder. Bidders can call the central office to ensure their mailed bid has been received.
Bids must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. Monday August 14th. Winning bidder will be notified by phone on Tuesday August 15th.
Winning bidder must remove the building within 30 days unless arrangements are made with Mitchell School Officials.
