Another flawless piece - this time, a cast, attractive art-deco table lamp, intricate scrollwork and design all the way around, with pressed glass accent. Workings have been replaced, but clock workings do not work, looks to be an easy fix. Heavy composite resin, but ornately designed and finished urn-style box with removable lid, Roman or Grecian. Top looks intact. Box has a chip out of one edge, easily hidden... Ceramic urn, cherubic, cast raised design. There are a two minor chips inside the rim, and some minor chips on the handles, see photos. By ELPA, Alcobaca, made in Portugal. Large oil of a woman caressed by her guardian cherub, in a solid, ornate, massive, secure frame. No flaws found in the frame, and only a blip or two on the painting itself. Beautiful pressed glass stem lamp on a hard pressed composite gold base, with Victorian style shade with beaded fringe, with a beautiful finial. The shade and beaded fringe appear uncompromised in any way. Crystal beads hanging under the shade are complete and unbroken. There appear to be larger crystals meant to hang as well, but they are missing, save one. Hooks could be easily removed to erase any hint of missing crystals. Condition:: very good Size/wt.: 42 as it stands, on a 6.5 in square base 21. Gold painted metal stand on a composite, marble-look base, painted gold, supports a pressed glass oval shaped planter.
