1. All items are offered and sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. All item descriptions are based upon visual inspection only. All measurements are approximate and are used for general descriptive purposes only. Bidders are solely responsible for determining the condition and authenticity of items. Any statements, or lack thereof, made in regards to accuracy of descriptions, typographical errors, condition, size, authenticity, age, restoration, reproductions, quality, historic relevance, or otherwise, are all for catalog information only and do not represent warranties, guarantees, or representations, of any kind. Physical inspection is highly encouraged by all bidders.
2. By registering for the auction and placing a bid, you (the bidder) agree to all the terms & conditions and signify that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. 3. When registering to bid online, PA Auction Center requires a valid credit card on. Once credit card information had been provided PA Auction Center reserves the sole right to automatically charge any and all winning total(s) to the credit card on file if the registered bidder is a successful high bidder. If the credit card on file is declined then a partial amount will be charged to the card and considered a deposit on the purchase. 4. The buyer’s premium for this auction is 18% for all online bidders. A 3% discount will be given for all invoices paid with PA check, cash or a wire transfer (with a $15.00 fee) within 2 business days of the auction otherwise the card on file will be charged. Pennsylvania sales tax applies to all lots sold unless buyer is tax exempt. 5. Invoices will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the auction. If you don’t receive one, please check your spam first and then call our office if you still don’t have one. 6. Auction date, Preview dates & Pickup dates can be found under the “Auction Information” tab above. Failure to pick up the items on one of the pickup dates listed may result in a storage fee’s being accessed and/or the items considered abandoned and resold without a refund of payment/deposit. 7. PA Auction Center reserves the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at our sole discretion. 8. PA Auction Center can pack and ship your purchases at your expense which includes time & material to pack in addition to the actual costs of the label. Simply request shipping by replying to the email with the invoice. PA Auction Center uses software called shipping saint for all smaller packages. 9. Buyers requiring shipping whose invoice is $1000 or more may need to transfer funds via wire transfer at the discretion of PA Auction Center. 10. Declined credit cards can result in a buyer being banned from participating in future auctions. Non-paying and/or fraudulent bidder names may be shared with other auction companies. 11. This is a public auction and not a retail setting. All sales are final. No returns or chargebacks are accepted. 12. Pa Auction Center is not responsible for, and shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions of, or failure to carry out an absentee bid, regardless of how the bid was submitted. This also includes any technical failures that may arise during the auction that affect absentee bids, including but not limited to, internet connections, telephones, computers, and networks. |

Who produced a multitude of beautiful 3-dimensional pieces all portraying motifs related to the life of the "plain people" in Lancaster County, PA. (12) Aaron Zook 3D Artwork & (2) Additional PrintsAaron Zook, brother to Abner Zook, was an amazing local artist out of Kinzers, PA who also possessed incredible carving, sculpting, and painting skills. Using those skills, he created a variety of wonderful pieces also in the "Amish Country" niche, as well as incredible landscapes. (11) Patricia Buckley Moss Framed Prints & (1) Collector's PlatePatricia Buckley Moss out of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, created wonderfully elegant archetypal "valley style" watercolor paintings of the Amish and Mennonite lifestyle. (4) Christian Newswanger Originals & (2) Framed PrintsChristian Newswanger was an impressive local artist. Manipulating the elements of design in order to create "sophisticated primitive" depictions of the Old Order Amish and their lifestyle. (3) Ros Fisher OriginalsRos Fisher's style mirrors that of post-impressionistic painter Vincent Van Gogh. There is a lot of movement and action being portrayed in each of his pieces, and his skill truly presents itself in his ability to keep each one balanced. His subject matter is heavily based in the "Amish Country" niche. Certainly a painter with a lively style, and a must have for any folk-art collector. (9) Dan Esh 3D Artwork, (2) Wood Burned Signs, & (3) Hand Crafted Wood Burned Keystone Step StoolsDan Esh was a talented local sculptor/artist, creating wonderful works of art straight out of Lancaster County, PA. His 3-dimensional pieces, made up of mostly landscape images, are set apart by his amazing ability to create detail and depth while painting. (9) Hand Carved and Painted Menno Shirk Folk Art Pieces & (2) Folk-Style PaintingsMenno Shirk was born and lived right here in our town of East Earl, PA. He has since passed in 2021, leaving behind simple, yet beautiful, folk-art paintings and carvings for us to enjoy. You can feel the movement of free-flowing creativity, and a child-like innocence in all of his pieces. (2) Recent Pat Groah DioramasPat Groah is an incredibly talented current artist born and raised on a farm in Ohio. She has had the opportunity to win some awards over the course of her career for her beautiful detail-oriented, hand-crafted works representing the motifs of farm life. Her talent truly speaks for itself. (2) Steve Polomchak Framed PrintsSteve Polomchak was an incredibly talented watercolor artist out of Crown Point, Indiana. Before his passing in 1996, he spent the majority of his life as a commercial art dealer and director. A career in the business, built on raw talent. (1) Esther P. Hill Framed Oil on Canvas PaintingEsther Hill is an artist out of Brisbane, Queensland with an incredible story to tell. After losing her hearing and being diagnosed with Meniere's Disease in 2012, she dove into her artwork. Using a variety of mediums and producing incredible pieces of art born from innate talent and hard work. (1) Erma K. Wenger Oil on Canvas PaintingErma K. Wenger was a local Lancaster, PA artist. With a style of mostly folk art in the Amish Country niche, with a warm touch of home. Painting since she was just a child, her practice allows her works to stand apart. (1) J. Alan Boyer Framed Acrylic on Canvas PaintingJ. Alan Boyer, a second-generation artist out of Berks County PA, painted beautiful scenes of historical homes, covered bridges, and local rural landscapes in the Oley Valley. He created outstanding acrylic works right up until his passing in 2022. (1) "L'Appel Au Passeur" by Ridgway Knight Framed PrintRidgway Knight got his start right in Philadelphia, PA. Being in the art business his whole life, he worked as student, then a teacher, as well as a commission artist. Creating amazing oil on canvas paintings based in realism, filled with French motifs. (1) 1940 Victor Shearer Oil on Canvas PaintingVictor Shearer was a second-generation local artist out of Reading, PA. Like his father, Victor created beautiful landscapes. McGill Framed PrintJG McGill is a local Pennsylvania artist out of Volant, PA. Painting realism-style pieces including landscapes and rural scenes carrying Amish lifestyle motifs. 1995 "Drying Quilt" by Susie Riehl Framed PrintSusie Riehl is an Amish artist who lives on a small farm in Lancaster County, PA. Not being formally artistically trained, her talent is obviously God-given. Many of her paintings revolve around subject matter including landscapes, garden scenes, and a variety of quilt representations. "Skating Party" by Will Moses Framed PrintBorn and raised in Eagle Bridge New York, Will Moses created incredible folk art-style pieces based on the quiet beauty of his town. Internationally known, his paintings are being displayed to this day all over the world. Including the White House. Simply an incredibly talented and beloved artist. "Mascot Mill" by Myrtle Tremblay SketchMyrtle Tremblay was a local artist straight out of New Holland, PA. With her last piece being done in 2004, she has since passed at the age of 102 in May of 2019. Even using a variety of mediums, her style never swayed. You've got to get yourself "a Myrtle". Guido Borelli Framed Oil on Metal PaintingGuido Borelli is a very well-practiced Italian artist from the foothills of the Italian alps in Caluso Italy. He has created many amazing pieces centered around Italian motifs. Simply his name is a wonderful addition to any collection. 1998 Pennsylvania Duck Stamp & Print by Gerald W. PuttGerald W. Putt is an amazing wildlife and nature artist out of Boiling Springs, PA. An incredible photo-realistic artist, with incredible skill. An assortment of 19th Century Framed Cross Stich PiecesIncluding artists such as Elizabeth Jones Albany, and Isabella Edgar. Beautiful pieces.
