Brief Overview: The Kraft family has been a pillar of the Oswego area community for more than 100 years. Ms. Grace Kraft, a school teacher by vocation, passed away at 99 years of age. This home contains the lifetime accumulation of Ms. Kraft, her siblings possessions, as well as some of her parents things. Original ‘Kraft’ Paintings, Antiques, Custom Quality Furniture, General Home Furnishings including items for every room in your house! Beds, Sofas, Occ.Chairs, Dining Room Furniture, etc.,etc., Mid Century Items, Antique China & Glassware, Art Supplies, Silver, Collectibles, Brick-A-Brack, Table & Bed Linens, Hand Made Textiles, Kitchen Items, Lawn & Garden Tools , Hand Tools,  Lighting, Costume Jewelry, Holiday    Decorations, Catholic Religious Items, Etc., Etc., Etc. The HOUSE IS FULL!!

The home is completely full from basement to attic with Antiques, General Home Furnishings and Artwork.

Grace Kraft had three siblings, two sisters and a brother. None of them married. They all lived in the Oswego community their entire lives. They each lived long lives (Grace was the youngest and died at age 99 years) . Grace was born here, was educated in local schools (including earning a teaching degree from Oswego State College) and worked here as a teacher and administrator at Cooper School, Kingsford Park School and Leighton School in Oswego.  Her siblings, Frank and Jeanne Grace, were an accomplished artist exhibiting at regional art shows and winning many accolades and prizes for their work. There are literally dozens of original  "Kraft " paintings in this estate sale !

Jeanne Kraft died in 2009 at the age 94.  Along with Jeanne’s painting, a graduate of Syracuse University in 1936, there are also dozens of works of art painted & sculpted by Grace and Jeanne's brother Frank Kraft . Frank passed away in 2008 at the age of 88.  He to never went too far from Oswego for very long .  He received his education at local schools and graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Art. He served in Burma during WWII with the Army Air Corps and returned to Oswego to pursue a career as a local Art teacher, (mainly at Fitzhugh Park). Frank's paintings are SPECTACULAR!  He was extremely talented! There are many local subjects with historic significance represented among his works (including the iconic Oswego Harbor Lighthouse ). Frank Kraft was a remarkably talented Illustrator and Ceramic Sculptor as well. Together, the Kraft siblings collection includes more than 100 pieces of original art!

It is amazing to imagine the changes in our community that the Krafts have witnessed......Grace Kraft living to nearly 100 years in Oswego!  WOW! The Kraft's were “keepers”. They kept records, pictures and items of interest in scrapbooks, boxes and file cabinets. The attic alone took us a solid week to sort through! There are no children to pass the family archives, items of local historic significance or artwork on to. This is the end of an era!

This promises to be a MEMORABLE SALE!!
