2023 Preble County Farm and Expo Auction Terms and Conditions:
" All items are only guaranteed between the seller and the buyer. Auctioneers guarantee no item and sells only AS-IS.
" All items auctioned are sold with reserve. Reserves are the responsibility of the seller. See fee schedule in contract for buy backs.
" Auctioneers, Fairgrounds and Staff are not responsible for accident pertaining to injury, nor lost, stolen or damaged items.
" Auction check in and pick up scheduled:
March 20, Monday: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
March 21, Tuesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
March 22, Wednesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
March 23, Thursday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
March 24, Friday: ABSOLUTLY NO CONSIGNMENTS ACCEPTED FOR AUCTION.
March 24 Friday: Lawn and Garden Auction Starts at 5:30
March 25, Saturday Auction Starts at 10:00 am
March 26, Sunday: Pick up 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
March 27, Monday: Pick up 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
March 28, Tuesday: Pick up 10:00 am - 6:00pm
March 29, Wednesday: Pick up 10:00 am - 6:00pm
" After Wednesday March 29 there will not be a loader available for pick up. Starting Tuesday March 28 there will be a $25 storage fee charged daily.
" All tires must be removed by Monday March 27. Any Tires left will be charged $100 disposal fee per tire.
" Titled vehicles must have a title available at signing of contract in the name of individual signing the contract. All questions as to condition will be referred to the Seller. We strongly suggest that you inspect condition and title. Buyer is responsible for transfer taxes. Buyer will sign a vehicle release form stating that under no circumstance the Auction Company represented condition and title. Auction will provide no Insurance to any vehicle. All titled items including trailers will be sold separately unless stated by the seller. Seller is responsible for disconnecting all trailers.
" All item with an engine must have fuel and battery. Fuel charge is $5 per gallon. If engine does not start auction company does not take responsibility.
" Acceptable forms of payment: Cash, Check with available funds. (Out of State checks must be pre-approved) Credit Card w/3.5% convenance fee, Wire transfer w/$20 fee.
" All invoiced purchases must be paid the day of the auction. Any person wishing to deduct purchases from items sold must inform auction clerk at check out the day of the auction.
" Internet bidding is available at WalnutHarvestAuctions.com and equipmentfacts.com. Buyer's Premium is charge for the convenience of this service to all internet buyers. Internet buyers must abide by the terms and hours of pick up. Special arrangements may be made by contacting the Auctioneer.
" By signing and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you verify your address use of credit card, with no return.
" All Internet buyer form of payment must be by wire transfer by Monday March 27, 2023. No credit cards accepted. Pre-approved checks and cash will be accepted if paid in person the day of the Auction.
