Captain Gary Kitchen, USAF, was a highly decorated navigator during the Vietnam War, and an extensive collector of art and artifacts during his 20 years of service. His acquisitions include items from Thailand, Japan, China, Germany, and Denmark, as well as contemporary and vintage American work. His militaria collection was on loan to the Fort Benjamin Harrison Museum until it closed in 1976.
