Antiques, Collectibles & Oddities Online Sale, Closing Saturday 11/26/2022 @ 7Pm Eastern. A part of the Mary L. Barker Estate.

Mary L. Barker was a U.S. Air Force veteran with a 40-year career devoted to military service and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) where she served as International Aviation Safety Inspector. She obtained her private pilot’s license at a young age and enlisted in the USAF where she reached the rank of Technical Sergeant. In her role as Flight Engineer on C-141s, she served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope (Somalia Intervention).

In her free time, Ms. Barker collected everything from Doctor Who original scripts, TV props, and memorabilia to hand-crafted Native American jewelry, vintage microscopes, globes, and watches. In addition, she collected NASA space shuttle computer equipment, fine leather tooled saddles and paintings of horses, glass art ware, and stone carvings. Her jewelry collection alone will delight the most discerning buyer.

One does not need to be into or have experience collecting, such items to appreciate Ms. Barker’s fine eye for intriguing, captivating items from around the world. Doctor Who aficionados will want to alert their Whovian friends immediately. A Doctor Who collection of this significance and variety rarely comes on the market in the U.S. Many will want to get in on this rare opportunity to own a portion of Ms. Barker’s collectibles and artifacts.

Ms. Barker, who died in March 2022, will be buried with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
