We are pleased to offer the personal collection of pottery and ephemera of the late Mildred Meaders. Mildred was the wife of the late John Rufus Meaders for 37 years. John was the son of Cheever and Arie Meaders and brothers to Reggie, Lanier, and Edwin and sister Ruby. The pieces being offered for sale in this auction are from Mildred’s estate. We took it all... The good, bad & in between. Offered for sale will be lots of pottery, some Meaders, and some other makers. Several pieces of ephemera from Cheever and Arie Meaders. Drawings, templates, receipts, pottery glaze recipes, etc. None of these items have ever been for sale and are one of a kind pieces. Please read the descripition of each item closely. A few of the pottery pieces do have damage, but it will be called with damage in the descripition. The unsigned ephemera pieces will be accompanied by a signed and notarized Certificate of Authenticity from the daughter of Mildred stating they are original and have been in the family for many years. A lot of very rare pieces that have never been offered for sale until now. Pick up will be Monday Oct. 31th & Saturday Nov 5th from 11-4. Other arrangments must be made by appointment.
