Listing Information

You are bidding on a trackless, train and cars, built in the 1980s by little choo choo- new replacement cost on these type trains is over $38,000 - the train with the 4 cars will haul up to 18 kids- the engine is powered by a 14hp Kohler engine on a wheel horse tractor chassis and features a train audio track, an air horn, an authentic brass bell and headlights. the train has hauled thousands of kids over the last 30 plus years. The engine tractor has not been started in about 2 years but the engine does turn over and could be running again with some fresh gas and new plugs. If you were planning on using it regularly i would switch tractors to a modern version with less maintenance requirements. (you need to remove the entire engine body when doing the oil change and plugs)

The engine/cars are badged as a Cedar Point train but i don't know if it ever was affiliated with Cedar point or if someone just badged it as such. The body is fiberglass and the cars are metal with wood trim.

selling as is to the highest bidder with no reserve price, the high bidder will own the train and the cars and everything must be picked up in the prescribed time as we do not have the extra space to store it for an extended time period.

A very eye catching and fun conversation piece.

Please ask questions before bidding and feel free to setup a preview if you would like, you are bidding on the train to own it not for first right of refusal.

For transport purposes the train engine is 91" long by 46" wide and 56" tall - there are 2 size cars - the coal tender car directly behind the engine measures 51" long by 50" wide and 41" tall with a 30" tongue, the other 3 train cars are 49" long  by 43" wide and 48" tall with a 22" tongue ..overall length when all cars are connected is just over 32 feet long

Good Luck and Happy Bidding
