Frank Chonka Sr served overseas as a US soldier, in the late 1930s and early 40s. He was instrumental in helping liberate prisoners of war from German concentration camps during, as well as after, World War II. When the war finally ended and he was able to come home, he and his wife Rosemary had two sons, Frank Jr and Gary. 

This is the home of their son Gary Chonka, and his wife Gloria, who both had top security clearance working at the White House in Washington DC for 30 years. Their careers spanned several US presidents from Nixon to Clinton. Gary’s late brother, Frank Jr, worked for the US Capitol Police there in Washington DC for many years as well. 

There’s a large amount of memorabilia for sale in the house, dating from WWI and WW2, as well as from the 1970s and 80s, all the way up to our current time. Things from their father’s era and before, as well as from the long careers of Frank Jr, Gary, and Gloria, all there in Washington DC.
