Attic Treasures will be conducting a benefit auction for Nicholas Pet Haven in Tyler April 18th @ 6:00 p.m. 2000 W. Southwest Loop 323 across from China Cafe. Tickets will be 20.00 for singles and 35.00 for couples... Stanley's BBQ will be catering this event and we have some great items up for auction. Due to complimentary alcoholic beverages being served, no one under 21 is allowed. Please call 903-312-7585 to purchase your tickets and reserve a seat. This auction will be limited to 100 people. Nicholas Nash is now 15 years old and when he realized there was a problem in his city 1 1/2 years ago with strays, he started the Facebook page Lost and Found Cats and Dogs of Tyler, TX. Many pets were reunited with their owners and he decided he wanted to take it a step further. His dream is to build a no kill shelter in Tyler. Nicholas Pet Haven is now a 501C3 and we have helped rescue hundreds of dogs and cats. While we are providing care through foster homes, we will be having fundraisers to help make this dream come true. Between both Facebook pages, Nicholas has over 10,000 LIKES! While others have turned their head and looked the other way, Nicholas has become a voice for the helpless. Many people turn to us for dogs that have been found with severe injuries and we see to it that these dogs get the best vet care possible. His biggest dream is to see to it that our city and county become a no kill community! With your help and support, we can make his dream become a reality.
