We hand out entry tickets (and coffee) at 7:00 am. Door opens at 8:00 am. Prices are as marked until 11:00. At 11:00 prices are reduced by 25%. At 12:45 the house is emptied and tidied. At 1:00 the prices are reduced to 50% and we readmit according to ticket number.

A bid box will be available for those who want to submit a bid. Bids will be reviewed at 11:00 and between 12:45 and 1:00 prior to the sale reopening and if bids are higher than the next price reduction, the bidder will be called and the item will be marked as SOLD.

We accept cash and credit cards. No checks, please. Bring help to lift, carry and load large items.

Please join us on Saturday, January 24, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm to have an opportunity to acquire exquisite items from a banker's estate. Many of these items were initially acquired in the 1950's when quality was built into products. Dining: There is a service for 10 of Towle Sterling Silver in the Candlelight pattern (dinner knives, cream soup spoons, teaspoons, dinner forks, salad forks, and butter spreaders, plus sugar spoon, 2 pickle forks, 1 lemon fork, 1 butter knife, 1 jam spoon and 1 tomato server.) Other sterling silverware include a Weidlich infant feeding spoon (Pattern #42?), a 9" Revere Silversmith's bowl and a Heirloom Sterling Damask Rose 5" lemon fork. There are also several items in silver plate: a pierced-work rim serving platter, a Wm A. Rodgers Oneida Ltd. tomato server, and a cake server. There is an elegant, 5-piece, 12-place setting of Franciscan Fine China made in California in ivory with a platinum band. It has been used, but it does NOT look USED. There are glassware in all shapes and sizes. Some are fabulous: 8 Collins Cocktail Soft Drink Glasses Tumblers w/Wide Gold Band in a Clover patter and some are fun: 2 Bombay Sapphire 1999's Custom Martini Glasses by Patrisia Heller, and 4 olive print martini glasses! Two gorgeous Royal Albert Bone China beverage servers - a large coffee pot and a tea pot. 2 Fostoria America pattern candlesticks with hexagonal bases and a large fruit platter / bowl. A vintage green and white floral Ginger Jar. A pair of red Japanese Cloisonné vases. Many other items too numerous to list.
