For our Star Trek fans we have something scheduled that is SO SPECIAL! BE SURE TO COME SATURDAY BETWEEN 12pm-2pm TO MEET DENIS RUSSELL. "Who is he?" you ask.  Denis is an Emmy award winning optical effects artist who was a scenic designer and painter for the Original Star Trek pilot, "The Cage" in 1964. He went on to work as one of the optical designers for the first three seasons! In 1969, he and his team from Cinema Research received an Emmy for their effects on the third season episode, "The Cloud People," or "Cloud Miners." So if you ever wanted to know who and how Scotty beamed up, how the teletransporter worked or how a phaser stunned an enemy or if you just want to get first hand gossip from the original Star Trek series set, you don't want to miss Denis. He might even autograph one of your purchases!  


Preparing for this sale has been so much fun! Firstly, I love it when our customers become clients. That's when I know we're doing something right! And they are absolutely wonderful people ( I always say we get the best clients.) They've told me amazing stories about their brother (who's estate we're handling) and I wish I had known him too. A long-time animal handler at the Fort Worth Zoo, police officer, avid hunter, and probably the biggest Star Trek fan ever, he was the kind of person who was always giving to those in need. 


And we have SO MANY fabulous things! Items of note are a 14kwg 1ct round brilliant diamond engagement ring with wedding band. Both shanks have channel set round diamonds and yellow sapphire baguettes. We also have a white gold champagne diamond ring with white diamond baguettes. Other notable items are an antique Possum Belly Baker's cabinet that's in amazing condition, Master Replica  Signature Series Episode V Empire Strikes Back Luke Skywalker Lightsaber with COA (only 1500 made), Stargate TER "Transphase Eradication Rod," (in English, a super cool gun), 1960s Rockola Jukebox that not only works, but is full of fabulous classic music, a working 1950s Voice of Music Record player (perfect MCM), WW1 Scabbard, Bowie Knives, 1954 Chevy Belair Radio, coins, and so much more!

Another highlight of the sale is the working Rock-Ola jukebox! Some records will be included. We've had so much fun listening to it as we prep.

There is a lot of fabulous furniture including a pair of Mission Art & Crafts style rockers, two vintage Formica and chrome dining sets (both sets of chairs need to be reupholstered), a pair of antique twin beds, vintage sideboard with hutch, and an antique possum belly baker's cabinet...

I generally don't get excited about organs, but the Wurlitzer we have is amazing! It's also a synthesizer and makes the most amazing sounds! We also have two large amazing black and white framed prints (great Fort Worth memoribilia) of the old downtown Stripling & Cox store (they came from a display from the last store that closed on Camp Bowie), costume jewelry, vintage hats and purses, hunting knives, gun cleaning kits, LP's, tools, lawnmower, Coleman Lanterns, kitchenware, small appliances, two refrigerators, washer and dryer, and much much more...

Star Wars fans don't want to miss out either! Included in the Star Wars collection is a Signature Series Master Replica Light Saber from Episode V: Empire Strikes Back, signed by Mark Hamill! Only 1500 of these were made! It's really fabulous! Lost in Space fans won't be disappointed either.

Another highlight of the sale is the working Rock-Ola jukebox! Some records will be included. We've had so much fun listening to it as we prep.

I generally don't get excited about organs, but the Wurlitzer we have is amazing! It's also a synthesizer and makes the most amazing sounds! We also have two large amazing black and white framed prints (great Fort Worth memoribilia) of the old downtown Stripling & Cox store (they came from a display from the last store that closed on Camp Bowie), costume jewelry, vintage hats and purses, hunting knives, gun cleaning kits, LP's, tools, lawnmower, Coleman Lanterns, kitchenware, small appliances, two refrigerators, washer and dryer, and much much more...
