Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a 2012 BMW 135i Convertible with 49,811 miles. The vehicle was obtained by the Elyria Police Department through Unclaimed and Abandoned Junk Motor Vehicle Affidavit. This administrative process turns the clear title to a salvage title. Please know the laws of your State in regards to salvage vehicle titles prior to bidding. The vehicle was initially obtained by the Elyria Police Department in October of 2017 through a criminal investigation. The case was closed where the vehicle went unclaimed and was obtained through the Unclaimed and Abandoned Junk Motor Vehicle Affidavit process in Ohio. A new battery was installed to determine if the vehicle starts. See attached pictures and video to show condition of this vehicle. No further mechanical inspection have been completed on this vehicle and the vehicle is being sold AS IS.
