Listing Terms and Conditions
We deliberately do not publish the house # until the evening prior to the first day of the sale to avoid early visitors. There is always plenty of good signage. Starting about an hour before opening we hand out numbers so that our customers can wait in their cars or run a quick errand. Often folks are waiting for numbers long before we even arrive, so it’s a good idea to get there early if there is something in particular you are interested in. These early arrivals should politely form a line. We do not offer previews nor do we pre-sell…that would be most disappointing to our customers. We also do not keep an inventory list or price sheet with us so we may not be able to answer those kinds of inquiries prior to the sale. That said, we will be as accommodating as possible.

Please remember to avoid parking on any lawns, blocking driveways and mailboxes, and park ONLY on one side of the street so that vehicles can pass. We will always support law enforcement’s efforts to maintain safety and order.

We have several workers facilitating the flow of the sale. Most of these move from room to room answering questions and marking larger items as SOLD for customers. In order to “stake your claim” on an item you cannot carry, you must request that a worker mark it with your name and make payment within 1 hour. As a rule we do not “Hold” items for consideration or trips to the bank. Only committed purchases will be marked “SOLD”.

We usually have a dolly and a few simple tools for your use, but you MUST bring your own muscle to move large or heavy items…we have neither the strength nor availability to move your purchases. All purchases must be removed by sale’s end. Bringing your own boxes, bags, and packing materials is a great idea as we tend to run out quickly.

Only small ladies’ handbags/purses and shopping totes/boxes will be permitted at sales, and all containers are subject to inspection for the security of our clients’ property.

Discounts are typically offered the final day of the sale. While we love to make our customers happy, our first priority is to our client(s)–to make them the greatest return possible on their property. We feel that we price the inventory fairly for our buyers from the beginning but may initiate discounts as a means to stimulate sales and move the inventory. This process varies from sale to sale, a blanket percentage discount may be announced at some point of the sale

Southern Estates accepts in-state checks on totals over $10 with sufficient ID. We also accept Visa and Mastercard, of course we LOVE cash and exact change.

Listing Information

Guidelines and suggestions for purchasing one or both of the cars available.

First off, they are both in great condition with low mileage, I would feel confident taking either car on a road trip as is. However, I want you to be the judge and take a good look for yourself. The vehicles will be sold “as is” and without any refunds, so if you need to bring someone with you to help with the car evaluation that’s OK. The Subaru is priced at $4,200.00. The Buick  LaSabre is priced at $5,200.00. They both have clear titles that will be available to you the day of sale. The vehicles will be made available for purchase on a first come basis so you may want to arrive early. We will hand out numbers at 8:00am to those in line, these numbers will establish your place when we open the doors at 9:00 am. If you are interested in test driving a car, then let me know when you receive your number. I will need to see your driver’s license and proof of insurance. If you decide to purchase a car, we will accept CASH or a credit card with a 2.75% added fee. I know it’s a Holiday and the banks are closed, so I will accept a 10% non - refundable deposit in the form of cash, check or credit card. The balance to be paid in cash within one hour of purchase. This will be first come first serve, but please don’t linger about a decision, there will be other interested buyers behind you (I will accept their purchase if you don’t act on your opportunity). If you don’t want to pay the full price, you can leave me an offer that I will consider as the sale continues. Thank You for your interest and happy shopping as well as Happy New Year.
