Saturday, September 18, 2021 – 9 AM

Preview and registration begins at 8 AM on auction day.  We'll also be there from 9 AM until 10 AM on Friday if you want to stop by for early preview.

Sale Order Updates:  Selling in THREE rings.  1st crew will start on Fenton & other glassware at 9 AM under tent.  2nd crew will start at 9AM on Ammo/Gun items, Tools and shop items.  Third crew will start at 10 AM on Box lots and misc. items in yard.  MG Roadster and Motorcycles sell at 12 Noon, immediately followed by ATV, Tractors, Trailer, and Mowers.  Storage barns sell after the equipment (approx. 12:30).  Auction should be finished up by 1 PM or shortly after.

Late Finds:  Smith & Wesson CO2 air pistol; ammunition & reloading items; MANY more hand & power tools; More Fenton glassware; Griswold dutch oven & other cast iron; reverse paint lamp.  300 new pictures added today.

Fenton Updates:  We will be starting on Fenton Glassware at 9 AM sale day.  Most pieces will sell individually, by the piece.  We will put a few pieces out on the auction block, and you will be bidding on CHOICE of those items, by the piece.  More Fenton has been added to the sale, and new pictures have been posted.  The Cranberry daisy & fern pitcher originally pictured was a casualty of war.  A shelf came out of the china cabinet when Mrs. Buhite was emptying it.  Most of the glasses survived, but the pitcher did not, so it will not be there on auction day.

Vehicle Updates:  MG Roadster is not currently running.  Gas tank was repaired, and the gas line is not connected.  Battery is also dead.  Both Suzuki motorcycles are not currently running (dead batteries).  The RE5 kicks over (engine is free), but the GS1000 does not have a kick start.  Kawasaki ATV, Massey Ferguson Backhoe, and Kubota Tractor are all in good running and operating condition.

Parking Updates:  Parking available at the church parking lots on the corner of Tower and Good Rd.  No shuttle service availabe, so plan to walk from church to auction (approx. 200 yards).  STAY OFF THE CHURCH LAWN, please.  When church lot is full you're on your own.  Roadside parking is NOT recommended, but will probably be happening.  Local police are aware of the auction and will be patroling the area for parking violations, so don't park somewhere that looks questionable or unsafe.

Last minute Parking Update:  A neighbor up the road (1-1/4 mile North of the auction) is planning to offer good off-road parking with shuttle ride to and from the auction for a $20 fee.  You will pass their signs if coming in from Rt. 57.  Utilize this option if you wish - it is a good alternative to roadside parking when after church lot becomes full, and we will NOT be stopping the auction if cars parked along the road are ordered to move.
