Listing Information
Estate of Donald "Pat" Sitter Pat was a lifelong resident in the Blackwell Community, building his own home in the middle 60s and raising his family there with his wife Carol. They built a reputation as knowledgeable community members and dependable neighbours. Pat's interest in and knowledge of Blackwell history was broad, and he was always happy to share a story or two. A lover of history may find an item or two of interest in this sale. Pat worked as a well respected and innovative mechanic for Park Lane Motors for nearly 4 decades. His reputation for honest, quality work was recognized by many who would have only Pat care for their vehicles. For a time, he also ran a small shop from his home garage. In his retirement Pat turned his attention to fine woodworking, building high quality furniture and cabinets for family and friends. His skills as a woodworker proved to be as strong as his mechanical abilities. Pat's quality works were grounded in his meticulous attention to detail and the knowledge that "the right tool for the job" paid dividends. His workshop was well appointed with quality tools and equipment and true to his careful nature, they were always well maintained. His home was as well kept as his garage, first by Carol and then by Pat himself. There is something for everyone in this sale.
