After 75 years of serving the Louisville area, Brown Bros. Cadillac has decided to close their family-run downtown dealership and will sell the contents of their historic showroom. Highlights include the iconic 1903 Cadillac Runabout Model A, a 1993 Cadillac Allante 2-Door Convertible, architectural items including a large stained glass window, fireplace mantel, vintage lighting and large foundation stones, antique and mid-century furniture, decorative arts, and automobile memorabilia. Upcoming Session 3 will include office furniture and supplies, file cabinets, decorative arts, tools and more. 

 

1903 CADILLAC MODEL A RUNABOUT 

This historic vehicle was produced in Cadillac’s initial year of operation and was one of 2,497 cars built after Cadillac made its debut at the 1903 New York Auto Show in January. Originally delivered to the Motor Vehicle Co. in Louisville Kentucky, listed and archived in the Cadillac Ledger as Engine No. 1178. In 1976, it was acquired by Brown Bros. in the acquisition of their Cadillac Dealership and stored indoors as part of their antique car collection and has not run in over 50 years. The car has been owned by three of Louisville’s Cadillac Dealers and has remained in the same building since 1913.  This two-passenger runabout is powered by a single-cylinder engine known as "Little Hercules" and has rear wheel chain drive with planetary transmission. It has a  wooden body, 22" wood wheels with 12 spokes, and Dietz brass coach lamps. Selling in as-found non-running condition with a reasonable reserve subject to seller's confirmation. 

 

1993 CADILLAC ALLANTE 2-DOOR CONVERTIBLE 

A 1993 Cadillac Allante Convertible two-door, two-seater Pininfarina-designed luxury roadster one of only 4,670 built in this model year, owned and maintained by Brown Bros. Cadillac since November 1993 with 42,971 miles. The vehicle has a 4.6 liter 32 valve NorthStar V8 EFI engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, blue exterior, beige leather interior, and an operational convertible top with a matching removable hardtop. After 75 years of serving the Louisville area, Brown Bros. Cadillac has decided to close their family-run downtown dealership and will sell the contents of their historic showroom. Highlights include the iconic 1903 Cadillac Runabout Model A, a 1993 Cadillac Allante 2-Door Convertible, architectural items including a large stained glass window, fireplace mantel, vintage lighting and large foundation stones, antique and mid-century furniture, decorative arts, and automobile memorabilia. Upcoming Session 3 will include office furniture and supplies, file cabinets, decorative arts, tools and more. 

 

1903 CADILLAC MODEL A RUNABOUT 

This historic vehicle was produced in Cadillac’s initial year of operation and was one of 2,497 cars built after Cadillac made its debut at the 1903 New York Auto Show in January. Originally delivered to the Motor Vehicle Co. in Louisville Kentucky, listed and archived in the Cadillac Ledger as Engine No. 1178. In 1976, it was acquired by Brown Bros. in the acquisition of their Cadillac Dealership and stored indoors as part of their antique car collection and has not run in over 50 years. The car has been owned by three of Louisville’s Cadillac Dealers and has remained in the same building since 1913.  This two-passenger runabout is powered by a single-cylinder engine known as "Little Hercules" and has rear wheel chain drive with planetary transmission. It has a  wooden body, 22" wood wheels with 12 spokes, and Dietz brass coach lamps. Selling in as-found non-running condition with a reasonable reserve subject to seller's confirmation. 

 

1993 CADILLAC ALLANTE 2-DOOR CONVERTIBLE 

A 1993 Cadillac Allante Convertible two-door, two-seater Pininfarina-designed luxury roadster one of only 4,670 built in this model year, owned and maintained by Brown Bros. Cadillac since November 1993 with 42,971 miles. The vehicle has a 4.6 liter 32 valve NorthStar V8 EFI engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, blue exterior, beige leather interior, and an operational convertible top with a matching removable hardtop.
