Stoneware: Weaver Distillery, Elizabethville, PA 3 gal jug; F. Wellmer and Brothers, Snydertown, PA jar; Metcalfe, Sunbury, PA small cream pot, rim damage; ovoid salt glazed jug with blue, F. P Ack and Brothers with rim chip, Salt glazed jar with blue fig leaf; two gallon Sipe and son with blue decoration, cracked. Simmons and Hammond root beer syrup jug, many small pieces with salt glaze, Albany and Bristol glaze. Excelsior preserves jar.
Redware: Large basin with manganese decoration; salt crocks; small apple butter crock; slip decorated plate; large cream pot style piece with handles; many miniature pieces some with loss and damage. Set of stove feet and miscellaneous jugs.
Blue Spongeware: Milk pitcher, mixing bowls, pitcher and bowl set, plates and platters, mustard and small pitchers, blue and white salt glazed bowls, spouted bowls, child’s tea set in blue sponge.
Flow Blue: Numerous pieces from pitchers, coffee pots, cups and saucers, plates and platters, many in good condition but many damaged pieces.
Yellowware and Bennington: Milk bowl and pie plate, corn mold, large and small mixing bowls, color banded bowls, soap dish, sugar, other various food molds, spittoon, hound handled pitcher, graduated pie plates.
Woodenware: Pastry rolling pin, Custer Mills (Milton) rolling pin, wooden laundry forks, spoons and butter paddles. chip carved soap dish, small kitchen boxes, pie boards, cutting and baking boards, slide lid boxes (nailed and wooden pin), wooden measures and wooden wash and meat tubs. Many unusual stompers and rolling pins. Baking board with heart shaped handle, slaw boards, utensil and tool carriers (one paint decorated).
Baskets: Varying sizes of rye, splint oak and drawn oak baskets featuring two early painted examples. Also, two Native American pieces, one with damage. Also offering a Longaberger selection of baskets and collectibles.
Tinware: Dozens of pieces of early kitchenware. Many handmade graters of all sizes (one dated 1877), molds, measures, tart pans, storage containers, small pails and buckets, candle molds, tea kettle, coffee pot and spice set. Early tin lamp insert for a candlestick, some miniature pieces including child’s stove with utensils.
Local and Regional Advertising: Governor Snyder Hotel tin sign, Bohsemeem spices (mustard store box), Rolling Green directional sign, Rolling Green photos, postcards, rolls of tickets and passes. Many Selinsgrove and Sunbury advertisements and premiums. Calendars from J. V. Ziders, Snydertown (1922), Selinsgrove Bottling works (1945), Paul Spangler, New Berlin (1931), Russ Brothers, Baltimore (1948), Michael’s Store, Selinsgrove (1931), Watkins Company (1931), First National Bank Selins-grove (1943), Wrench, Middleburg, (1925), Manbeck’s Bread (1935). Selinsgrove High School Pennants and Beanies, local and tri state businesses promotional advertising pieces. Other advertising containers such as Shepps Coconut store jar, W. & S. cough drops store jar, paper market basket from Eisenhaver Grocery, Sunbury, H. L. Glass, Sunbury, meat fork. Horlic malted milk-mixing jar. John H. Keller, Selins-grove lard tin, Pracht hard candy tin, Gibbons licorice tin, Old Southern coffee tin, S. Bro-co syrup tin, Swift’s toilet soap jar, Nabisco jar.
Holiday: Early blown glass Christmas ornaments, tinsel, scrap ornaments, spun cotton and compositions Santas, snowman of spun cotton, many early and some quality reproductions of compositions decorations such as Santas, snowmen, pumpkins, cats and candy containers. Paper and plastic items for Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. Six foot aluminum tree, two color wheels, large 50s Santa candy container. Feather trees of many sizes from 8 inches to 3 feet. One early and in blue, also some excellent reproductions.
Textiles and Soft Goods: Early beeswax candles, three large oval wallpaper boxes (loss and damage to paper). Numerous quilts such as an eagle quilt, log cabin, star design, flying geese and others. Great colors and backs. There are 20 plus quilts and comforts. One eagle coverlet, late, one piece style, many pieces of home spun of all sizes. show towels and samplers (fading), many pieces of early material suitable for quilting, some may be large enough for garments. Clothing such as adult and children’s dresses, vintage doll clothing, ladies’ hats, man’s derby and christening gowns. Lady’s dress form with tin lattice base, child’s dress form with iron boots.
Iron and Cast and Forged Items: Two signed hearth skillets, horse style andirons, trivets, fire tools, spatulas, forks and ladles. Two Wagner (very small) cast and nickel plated tea kettles. Large earthquake or stabilizing star for a building. Selection of three foot gypsy kettles. One New Berlin meat fork. Large selection of forms, styles and colors of graniteware. (gray, blue and white, green and white and teal and white), measures, funnels, soap dish, coffee pots, berry pails both small and large, cream pails, bowls, pie plates and cook pans.
Toys: Painted game boards, modern game boards, cast jockey and cart, tin fighting roosters, cast goat with cart, tin daredevil toy, cast horse team with bells, Emergency towing pedal truck, decorated child’s wheelbarrow, many doll cradles, cast fire wagon with ladders, early Lightning Guider with sled (hand decorated), chalk cat with fish bowl. Small grouping of dolls and doll parts.
Early Lighting: Large collection of miniature and standard oil lamps, many colored and pressed and pattern types, satin glass and hand painted. Many with burners, chimneys and shades. Bracket lamps complete with reflectors. Two unusual Deco style table lamps. Three large half shades for hanging lamps. One cranberry swirl, one floral painted and one white. Two hanging lamps (incomplete for parts).
Furniture: Two piece twelve light corner cupboard in red with bracket feet. Three tilt top tea tables, early one drawer over one door jelly cupboard, two sets of six decorated plank bottom chairs, six early decorated high chairs, numerous child’s decorated chairs and rockers, one child’s Windsor chair, several different Windsor chair’s examples, dome topped trunks, two rope beds (one in old red with a trundle bed), spinning wheel, decorated rockers, cobbler’s bench, great selection of benches of all sizes, decorated rocker settee, two wicker doll strollers, two bucket benches (one with mortised shelves), tapered leg, pin top work table with drawer and also traces of red decoration. Round oak lion’s head and claw foot table, a mixed wood drop front desk, flat front hanging cupboard, child’s hoosier type cupboard, oak three piece bedroom suit, ferneries, marble top wash stand, two marble top lamp tables, twig stands, farrier’s boxes, Chippendale style mirrors, four fancy Victorian wall racks with porcelain buttons. Mahogany pineapple poster bed, large grain decorated drop front desk with dove tailed case and ogee feet (missing book case top), modern camel back sofa and wing chairs.
Framed Items: Many block printed birth certificates, broadsides and period prints. Two small oils on boards, several early flat frames, some with paint. Dozens of deep walnut frames, various sizes.
Bar items: Two Piels lamps, two Ballantine lamps, J. B. Scotch lamp, Genesee light, Black Label light, Cliquot club clock, Coors Light clock, Pabst signs, John Paul Whiskey sign, Carling’s sign, Old Reading menu board, a Pabst clock, Duquesne sign, Kessler’s baseball player lamp, three Valley Forge fish signs, chalk Old Reading display, chalk Piels straw holder, chalk Rolling Rock horse, large selection of small table and bar advertising items from coasters, napkins and straw holders. Large amounts of these items, some will be sold in tray lots. Schmidt’s chalk back bar bottle holder.
