UPDATING ALL ON US!  PLATINUM ESTATE SALES,    We have been conducting estate sales since 2003 and in the business since 1993.  Owners are Glenn and Jeanette McBeth.  Glenn works a normal 7 am to 6 pm job in the City, Jeanette is a certified appraiser and only works in the estate sale industry. No children, but we have pets. We live in Cary, Il. and enjoy the small-town atmosphere.

THE MOST ASKED QUESTIONS WE HEAR?

The items remaining after our sale is done and we have exhausted all options along with offering discounts which must be approved by our client always remains in the home for the client to decide what they want to do. NOTHING BELONGS TO US!

We DO NOT DO and have never done a BUY-OUT  Personally, I cannot imagine that we go from sale to sale so, no time.

We will offer a cleanout if the client desires. This entails us contacting charities and/or pulling up a dumpster to remove all items then mopping and vacuuming and sweeping so the rooms are empty and clean.

How much we can discount and if we can offer discounts is ALWAYS up to the clients.  Again these are not OUR ITEMS.

We have been accused of buying " the good stuff", Nothing could be further from the truth I cannot even imagine as we don't need or want it.

Glenn and I DO NOT have a storage unit, nor room in our small modest home for other people's stuff, Nor do we desire anything at this time in our life. Glenn does go to other sales and buys records occasionally and is always on the lookout for aurora slot cars. I collect jadeite and paperweights.

So to dispel all the gossip, the staff and I do not pre-buy or hide the good stuff. I DO NOT do Buy-Outs. We price accordingly and feel we are fair and reasonable, albeit some disagree, we all have our own opinions of affordable, what can I say

We can and do buy at the same price you pay but, only on the 2nd day of our sale and prior to the doors opening. Usual purchases are cleaning supplies, those are expensive to buy new, and or paper goods. So if you see cleaning or paper goods, buy it the first day as it will be gone when the doors open on the 2nd day. 

My team is fantastic, they work hard and are paid well. Yes, we pay taxes and everyone gets a W2 at year's end. I am fully insured, we pay all taxes to the government. Everyone's pay and taxes come out of the profit I make along with all expenses to conduct, advertise, and price the sale. 

Kim has been with me for over 6 years, she loves her grandchildren and collects cloisonne, Anne is originally from England and loves Jewelry, Erin works on weekends as she has a full-time job elsewhere not related to estate sales, Vicki is my Niece and new to the business, she loves to crochet, and Manny, has been with me about 10 years, and who due to Covid and his health has chosen not to work at this time. Hopefully, next year. He loves vintage Halloween.
