Wine & Cheese Charity Preview of the Estate Auction of Thedore &Ruth Mulford!

Wine & Cheese Auction Preview in Binghamton to Benefit Tri-Cities Opera! (Welcome ‘Meet & Greet’ with the Opera’s newest General Director) The public is invited this Wednesday, August 27th between 6-8pm to an open house charity auction preview showcasing the art and antique collection of the late Theodore & Ruth Mulford. All contents and real estate will be auctioned off the following Saturday, August 30th on the grounds of the estate. Wednesday’s wine & cheese charity preview is also an opportunity to welcome and speak with the new incoming General Director of Binghamton’s Opera Company.

The setting is the magnificent turn of the century estate home, located at 90 Grand Blvd in Binghamton. The Mulfords were local philanthropist, generously supporting many local museums, historical society, regional hospitals and other organizations. The Mulfords had a particular fondness and appreciation for the Tri-Cities Opera Company which 100% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated. Those in attendance will be able to preview the unique one-of-a kind items up for auction Saturday, August 30th starting at 10:00am.

Enjoy a glass of NYS local wine and an assortment of cheeses as you preview the many wonderfully exquisite and new-to-market items that will be auctioned off three days later at the Estate. Fine Antique & Collector Quality Furniture, Original Artwork, Paintings, Prints, China, Silver, Estate Jewelry, Fine Glassware, Oriental Estate Carpets and more will be offered....including historically important cache of 18th Century letters by Binghamton’s namesake William Bingham, also selling at auction is a large collection of Colgate and Broom County memorabilia and Tri-Cities Opera historic items!

The evening’s event is part of a community ‘Give Back Initiative’ sponsored by TERRI PETERS & ASSOCIATES Auction and Estate Marketing which provides ‘TOTAL ESTATE SOLUTIONS’ for Personal Property and Real Estate. The new incoming general director, Susan Ashbaker, was affiliated with the Opera Company of Philadelphia for 16 years leading the casting practices and identifying and offering opportunities to young singers.
