This is an ONLINE ONLY AUCTION.

The auction will begin to close on November 4 at 7:00 p.m. and will close at the rate of 3 lots per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute.

Preview and Pickup Information:

Preview for this auction will be Monday, November 2 from 3-6 PM at Mini Max Storage Unit, 52 Lodge Rd., Verona, Va. 24482 (Behind the Factory Antique Mall). Note this is INSIDE the FENCE so we will post a code at the GATE that you will need to enter at the gate in order to enter the facility. Items are located in UNIT M10.

Pickup is at the same location on Thursday November 5 from 3-6 PM. You will be provided a Gate Code in your winning email notification. Shipping is NOT available for this auction. Please bring a copy of your paid invoice to pickup. Please bring help to assist you in loading your purchases.

Terms of the Sale:

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented by November 3 at 5 p.m..

TAX EXEMPT CUSTOMERS: Please email your tax exempt info to markcraigauctions@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on November 3. If we do not receive it in this time frame you will be charged tax.

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.

Payment: Credit Card or Debit Card are approved methods of payment. There will be a 10% buyers premium added to the total purchase price. Cards will be charged approximately 30 minutes after the auction ends.

This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $50 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment will be processed following the auction. If the payment is declined on your card that is on file, you will receive an invoice with a link to make the payment. Payment must be made before any items are removed from the property. We do NOT take payment at pickup!

Bidding: You must be registered to place a bid on an item. By placing a bid, you agree to all the terms and conditions that apply to this auction. All bids are final. We cannot retract or remove a bid. We respect your privacy and that of the other bidders. We will not release your information to anyone without your permission. This is an online only auction. The bidding will begin to close on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 PM and close at the rate of three lots per minute with a one minute auto extend. This means that if a bid is placed within one minute of the end of the auction the auction for that item will auto extend for an additional minute until no more bids are placed within the last minute. In the event the auto-extend time needs to be reduced, Mark W. Craig Auctions reserves the right to adjust the auto-extend, as needed.

Bidder Registration & Verification: The identity of all bidders will be verified, bidding rights are provisional, and if complete verification is not possible, Mark W. Craig Auctions will reject the registration, and bidding activity will be terminated. Mark W. Craig Auctions has the sole authority to resolve any bidding disputes as they may arise. For verification purposes, a credit card is required in order to register for this auction. Upon registering, an authorization charge of $50.00 will be charged against the credit card used for registration (your card will only be “Pinged” and not charged). This authorization is not a permanent charge placed on your card, it is only a pre-authorization used to verify identity of our bidders and the availability of funds on the credit card used for registration. Please be advised that Mark W. Craig Auctions has no control over the length of time the verification charge remains on your card; that is at the sole discretion of your credit card company. Also, please be aware that registering for multiple auctions could incur multiple verification charges; and in some instances, multiple verification charges may result in a fraud alert being sent to the card holder. Mark W. Craig Auctions reserves the right to reject or accept bidder registrations at its sole discretion.

Bidding: The auction software and our online bidding platform will notify bidders by email if they have been outbid. Please consider using the “Max Bid” feature as this will allow the software to bid on your behalf up to, but not exceeding, your Max Bid. If two or more bidders put in the same Max Bid, the auction software will recognize the earliest placed bid.

How to register & bid at an ONLINE AUCTION:

1. Under the “Upcoming Auctions” tab, click on the auction you would like to bid on. Click the blue button “BID ONLINE NOW”.
2. Click on “Login/New Bidder” at the top of the page.

• If you are a new bidder click the black button “New Bidder? Click Here” and follow the instructions. You must fill in all information with an asterisk including credit card information.

• If you are already registered and not a new bidder, fill out user name and password then click the blue button “Log On”.

NOTE: You only need to register one time. After the initial registration, you can continue to use the same user name & password on all future auctions. You will be asked to confirm your credit card on all future auctions.

3. Read all terms and conditions prior to bidding. Note the scheduled preview & pick-up time and date.
4. Click: “View Catalog” scroll through items and choose the item you would like to bid on. Click the blue button under the item with “Bid & current bid amount.
5. The minimum bid amount will be displayed in the window, you can choose to change the bid amount to a max bid or leave the min bid. (Your bid is the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for this item, plus any Buyer’s Premium. The auction software will bid on your behalf up to this amount.)
6. Read and check: “I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this auction.” Click “Confirm Bid”
7. You will be notified by e-mail (e-mail address you provided when registering) if you have been outbid. It’s always good to set a max bid and check back often to ensure you don’t lose the bid as sometimes e-mail will have a delay. If you win the bid, you will receive an e-mail the following business day. You can also view your current bids at the top right hand corner.
