- Niagara County Cooperative Extension/4-H, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, donors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction cannot hold any responsibilityor liability from any risks or hazards related to the items won at the auction.
-All sales are final.
-There is no buyer's premium or sales tax for this auction.
-The receipt can be used to claim your tax deductible charitable donation.
-By bidding with our auction you are entering into a contract with our terms and conditions and agreeing that Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service, its employees, officers, owners, representatives, agents, and consignors will not be held liable for any losses, claims, liabilities, judgments, expenses, fees, or other damages arising from the use of our services, website, auction property, and this site, including property damage, injuries, dispute with another bidder, or breach by bidder of this site. Any liability to a purchaser will not exceed the purchase price actually paid.
-Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service will not be held responsible for any interruption in internet service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. -Buyers are responsible for making arrangement to pay for and pick up items within the time frames listed for the auction.

NIAGARA COUNTY 4-H LIVESTOCK AUCTION FOR POULTRY & RABBITS Internet Bidding Only Rabbit and Poultry lots are sold by the pair. There is an automatic processing charge of $12 per lot. Dates: Auction Starts: Friday, July 31st at 9 a.m. Auction Ends: Friday, August 7th at 7:30 p.m. (One lot will close every minute.) The 2020 Niagara County 4-H Livestock Auction is being held ONLINE. We understand just how important local meat continues to be for our community, and Niagara County 4-H youth have worked diligently to follow through on their animal projects. Please consider supporting these hard-working kids, while giving you the opportunity to fill your freezer. Though the auction format may look different this year, the high-quality market animals and meat brought to our buyers, is the same. We are pleased to share with you that our local and loyal meat processors are on board with GUARANTEED butcher spots at their facilities for Niagara County 4-H auction animals, if you so choose to use them: -Hartland Abattoir of Gasport – ALL STEERS AND HOGS have pre-reserved butcher spots available in August. -Ed Roggen (Whitney Creek Farm) of Basom – ALL GOATS AND LAMBS have pre-reserved butcher spots available in August. -Britt's Turkey Farm of Gasport – Meat Birds (processed and frozen prior to the auction, same process as in the past) **Please note the 4-H'er will transport/trailer the animal to the processor for you after the sale. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pick up meat from the butcher shop, once it is ready. If you don't want a whole animal, you can go in on it with family or friends and split up the costs and meat. The Niagara County 4-H Auction Committee and Bontrager Auction Services will work to provide an efficient and easy online auction and buying process for you. The auction will open for bidding on Friday July 31, 2020. The auction will end, closing out all bids on Friday August 7, 2020. You may register to bid at any time, by visiting www.bontragerauction.com. One animal lot will close out every minute. Bidding in the last minute of an item will extend the bid time by 2 minutes for that item only. Credit cards can be billed immediately (3% fee will be added to your bill to cover the cost of processing your card), or you can let Niagara County 4-H know that you would like to pay with check or cash later. There are 2 separate online auctions: One for weighed animals such as steers, lambs, hogs, and goats, where bidders will be bidding by the pound; and one for rabbits and poultry, where bidders will be bidding by the animal lot (one lot = a pair). You will need to register separately for both auctions. Should you bid successfully in both auctions, your payments will be processed separately (unless you're paying with check or cash). The weighted animals auction will take place first. The poultry and rabbit auction will start after the weighted animals auction is scheduled to end, so buyers don't have to try to bid in both auctions simultaneously.
