Here's a little information about the owner of the estate:

"A longtime member of the industrial design community and an ardent automobile designer. His fascination with automobiles began in childhood and quickly progressed into a career enriched by accolades including an early design award from General Motors’ Fisher Body Craftsman Guild. His work was recognized in publications around the world, including standard bearers such as Automobile Quarterly and INNOVATION. He continued to exercise his talents even in the more senior phase of his professional life with his entrée to the world of Bugatti. Through a collaboration with then VP and technical director of The Bugatti Revival in Campogalliano, Italy, Paolo Stanzani, he proposed an alternate design for what became the maker’s renowned mid-engine sports car, the EB110. Through his career successes, he made time to give back to the profession. He served in IDSA leadership at the Mid-Atlantic chapter from 1997 to 2005. During that time he held several elected positions, including secretary, vice chair and chair."
