*The auctioneer determines the highest bidder. Any dispute which arises will be handled at the auctioneer's discretion, which can include, but is not limited to, putting the lot in question back up for auction. In the instance there is a tie bid between the floor and/or the internet bidders and/or absentee bidders, the floor bidders take precedence. AS AN ONLINE BIDDER YOU ASSUME ANY RISK ASSOCIATED WITH "WINNING" AN ITEM AND NOT ACTUALLY HAVING THE ITEM SELL TO YOU. THIS IS DUE TO (1) THE FINAL HAMMER OF THE AUCTIONEER AND (2) ONCE A LOT IS CLOSED ON THE ONLINE BIDDING PLATFORM THE OPERATOR IS NOT ABLE TO RE-OPEN THAT LOT.

*Absentee bids are accepted up to and during the live auction. Rentzel's Auction Service is not responsible for, and shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions of, or failure to carryout an absentee bid, regardless of how the bid was submitted. This also includes any technical failures that may arise during the auction that affect absentee bids, including but not limited to, internet connections, telephones, computers, and networks.

*The auctioneer reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids.

*The final call of the auctioneer or fall of the hammer of a lot to the highest bidder formally indicates the change of title and possession passes to that high bidder, regardless of the bidding method used, including in house, online, or via an absentee bid. Immediately upon this transfer, the high bidder assumes all responsibility and/or risk of the lot(s) purchased, including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, etc.

*CREDIT CARDS ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTED FORM OF PAYMENT FOR ABSENTEE AND ONLINE BIDDERS. NO EXCEPTIONS. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are all accepted. When registering for for an absentee/online bid a credit card will be required. Once the credit card information has been provided, Rentzel's Auction reserves the sole right to automatically charge any and all winning total(s) to the credit card on file if the registered bidder is a successful high bidder. The winning total will consist of the hammer price(s) of the lot(s) successfully won, plus any applicable buyer's premium, handling charges, and tax. If shipping is required, any material, insurance, postage and handling fees, will be applied to the same credit card at a later date as a second charge.

*PAYMENT EXCEPTION: CERTIFIED CHECKS ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTED FORM OF PAYMENT FOR COINS, JEWELRY, AND WATCHES IF WINNING TOTAL AMOUNTS TO $1,000.00 (ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS) OR MORE, INCLUDING BUYER'S PREMIUM AND TAXES. A CREDIT CARD WILL STILL BE REQUIRED FOR ANY AND ALL SHIPPING COSTS, IF APPLICABLE.

*As required by Pennsylvania law, 6% (six-percent) sales tax will be charged unless you have a PA State Sales Tax Number on file with Rentzel's Auction. Items shipped out of the state of Pennsylvania will not be charged sales tax.

*The applicable buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of each lot, plus an additional 3% (three-percent) credit card usage fee. The aforementioned fees are only a part of the total purchase cost. Other costs and fees can include, but are not limited to, handling fees, material costs, per lot fees, shipping and insurance costs, sales tax (if applicable), etc. All costs should be considered and taken into account when determining any and all bids. *PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN TWO WEEKS (14 DAYS) OF AUCTION DAY. NON-PAYMENT WILL RESULT IN ITEM(S) BEING FORFEITED BY BIDDER AND EITHER RETURNED TO CONSIGNOR OR RE-SOLD. ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY AUCTION COMPANY, ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 2 (TWO) TO 4 (FOUR) WEEKS FOR SHIPMENT OF ITEM(S). DURING THIS TIME PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO INQUIRE AS TO WHEN YOUR ITEM WILL BE SHIPPED. ONCE YOUR ITEM HAS BEEN SHIPPED YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH ALL PERTINENT SHIPPING INFORMATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TRACKING NUMBER, EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE, AND MORE.

*FAILURE TO REMIT PAYMENT FOR ITEMS WON AND/OR SHIPPING SERVICES PROVIDED WILL RESULT IN THAT BIDDER BEING SUSPENDED AND/OR BLOCKED FROM BIDDING AT ANY AUCTIONS HOSTED BY RENTZEL'S AUCTION. AS A RESULT, LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN IF NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF RENTZEL'S AUCTION, ITS EMPLOYEES, CONSIGNORS, AND OTHER BIDDERS.

*ANY AND ALL ITEMS TO BE SHIPPED WILL BE SENT THRU ONE OF THE THREE FOLLOWING METHODS, AS DETERMINED BY RENTZEL'S AUCTION: (1) USPS (UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE), (2) UPS (UNITED PARCEL SERVICE), OR (3) POSTAL CONNECTIONS. Due to varying sizes, contents, weights, and conditions of items, Rentzel's Auction will use its sole discretion in determining which shipping provider to use. NO PRIVATE OR THIRD PARTY SHIPPERS WILL BE USED. THIS INCLUDES FEDEX. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO LARGE CRATING OR LARGE PACKAGING WILL BE DONE BY RENTZEL'S AUCTION. Successful high bidders are responsible for all shipping costs including but not limited to insurance, handling, material, and other charges that may apply including, a per lot handling fee.

*Each lot successfully won WILL incur a per lot handling fee that will be determined by Rentzel's Auction Service, up to a maximum of $5.00 per lot. If two lots are successfully won there will be two lot handling fees. Per lot handling fees are in addition to any and all other costs.

*Items that are shipped may arrive in multiple packages and/or multiple lots may be in the same package. USE CAUTION WHEN OPENING ANY AND ALL PACKAGES. If the total value of a package is $500 (five-hundred dollars) or greater a signature confirmaion is required. All packages require insurance.

*Rentzel's Auction Service is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipment, regardless of the carrier used. Any package that arrives in less than satisfactory condition should be immediately reported to the carrier service used.

*Items can be picked up directly at the York County Fairgrounds located at 334 Carlisle Avenue, York, PA 17404. ITEMS CANNOT BE PICKED UP AUCTION DAY. All pickup times must be scheduled in advance. Please call (717) 586-1343 to set up a scheduled date and time. Any items not picked up within a reasonable amount of time will result in a per-week-storage fee determined by Rentzel's Auction at that time.

*Internet bidders, be aware that in the case of any internet connection or computer failures, etc. the live auction will proceed as scheduled.
