Where to start ? This sale is mind-boggling, for sure !!! There’s something for pretty much everyone. Please bar aware, if you plan on perusing, and digging through, the outbuilding, wear long pants, and have gloves. A lot of the items in the summer-house/shop style building, hasn’t been gone through, in years. Critters may abound. Just sayin’. Also, there a large groupings and stacks of wood, for crafty type applications, that will be priced as you shop them. Please be patient, don’t go all cranky on folks, please. If you have an issue, please be brave enough to take it up with me, not my awesome workers. They’ve done a stellar job, setting this sale up, I can pretty much guarantee none of you could do their jobs. The sale will be held Friday, September 6th, 9:00a.m.-2:p.m., Saturday, September 7th, 9:00a.m.-2:00p.m., and SUNDAY, September 8th, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The sale will be held at 114 West Bronco Bend, in Angleton. It’s on the Arby’s side of 288B, just past that bright yellow and blue Scottish Inn, and the fire station. Parking is going to be tight, AND, its trash day, so leave room for the garbage scow, and other drivers to navigate through. Don’t block driveways, or mail boxes, please !!!
FYI, this sale starts the 25th year, since Diane Peltier Oswald, started it. What a ride !!!
There will be NO CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE HOME, it’s waaaaaay too crowded !!!
No large purses, totes, backpacks, strollers, etc., in the sale area, or they could be subject to search. How embarrassing !!!!
The sign-up sheet will go out, around 8:00a.m., Friday morning, and we’ll begin calling the first names on the list, around 8:45. The front door is the only way in or out, if you need to move something from the shop/outside rooms/patio area, one of the EL workers will let you out.
If you have friends who are teachers, we have many, many totes, of crafty items. This would be a great way for them to stock up, for classroom projects !
Large items will be sporting those ubiquitous two part tags. If you want to buy an item, take the BOTTOM half of the tag, and hang onto it. When you pull it, we consider it sold. If, for some reason, you change your mind, please find an EL worker,(we’re the ones wearing the shirts that say”Estate Liquidators” on them.
ESTATE LIQUIDATORS DOES NOT PROVIDE CARRIERS, LOADERS, OR PACK MULES !!!!! Please make arrangements to have your purchases carried. We can also give you the number of an awesome local mover.
