The TSSA Annual Convention Charitable Fundraising Auction to benefit the Shriners Children's Hospital.
TSSA has chosen the Shriners Hospitals for Children, and specifically the hospital in Galveston, as the beneficiary of our fundraising efforts for 17 years. The reason becomes clear during a tour of the hospital and the results are evident in the care provided and in the caring attitudes of everyone on staff at the hospital. Their slogan, “Love to the Rescue,” is very much in evidence throughout. TSSA raises funds for the hospital through a variety of ways including our annual Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament, Live and Silent Auctions, and The Matching Challenge bringing the total amount donated to-date to more than $1,195,000. We are more motivated than ever to continue our fundraising efforts and work towards our second million. What a wonderful way to contribute to this great hospital.
