UPDATED 10/31

This sale has been so much fun to prep! One of my favorite things to find is paper ephemera and a couple of days ago, we came across a 1930s "Skin-Life Soap" Box. Inside were 4 coupons from the Colgate, Pamolive-Peet product line.  We also have some baby clothes from the 1920s. Most of them are in poor condition, but wonderful to see and feel none-the-less. We also have the Scripps-Howard Dionne birthday edition from the September 28, 1936 printing of the Fort Worth Press. The Dionne quintuplets were the first known to survive infancy. The paper is in amazing condition with beautiful saturated color. We also have at least two weeks of Fort Worth Star Telegrams beginning September 11, 2001.

We've uncovered lots of great books on American presidents: Lincoln, Kennedy and Nixon, including "The Torch is Passed", published byThe Associates Press, that includes a special newspaper supplement from the Warren Report published in the Kansas City Times on Nov. 28, 1964; "The Death of a President" by William Manchester and "The Official Warren Report on the Assasination of John F. Kennedy." We also have a first edition printing of "The Tommyknockers" by Steven King, a signed copy of "Silent Night" signed by Will Moses. There also are cross-stitch, crochet, needlepoint, quilting and embroidery books.

Additionally, we have two Hazel-Atlas cobalt blue Art Deco creamers and another by Hazel-Atlas with the image of Shirley Temple on it. Other glassware includes a beautiful blue EAPG lidded compote dish, orange carnival glass (old and new), depression glass and EAPG. We also have a couple Waterford crystal pieces.

The quilt tops available are fabulous. They include hand-stitched patterns like Double Wedding Ring, Grandmother's Garden and Field of Diamonds. There are also fantastic hand stitched quilt squares of Sun-Bonnet Sue and Overall Boy (I can't remember his name right now!) as well as pieces constructed for Field of Diamonds. You'll find lots and lots of fabric, yarn, crochet needles and sewing notions. And of course to go along with all of this is an amazingly beautiful antique Elgin sewing machine/table. There are vintage sewing patterns and at least one Simplicity pattern from the 1930s.

If you collect Tom Clark gnomes, this is your sale! There are over 30 gnomes, many of them signed by Tom Clark! There is also a collection of David Winter resin buildings, Fitz and Floyd, Charming Tails mice, bird houses, collectible plates from a trip through the United States in the 1950s, and a large collection of thimbles. Other collectibles include a vintage Dairyland milk bottle, Snow Crest Bear Clear Glass Bank bottle, a primitive dairy/cheese sieve, other primitive kitchenware, vintage washboard, and much more.

In addition to the antique quartersawn oak table and chairs listed above,  we do have a beautiful, beautiful china cabinet with matching dining table and chairs and Thomasville, French-Provincial dresser with mirror, side and corner tables by the Bombay company (I loved their furniture), an adorable outdoor green iron table and chairs and a beautiful Deco Lane cedar chest.

We have tons of Christmas decorations, including many pieces by Lenox. There are lots and lots of tools. tool boxes and cabinets! Also, cookbooks, kitchenware, and much more...

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
