LARGE MULTI-FAMILY AUCTION

AT THE INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 2 AND THE OHIO RIVER BRIDGE IN ST. MARYS, CONTINUE SOUTH ON ROUTE 2 FOR 3/4 MILE. SALE IS ON THE LEFT. FROM PARKERSBURG TAKE ROUTE 2 NORTH FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES. SALE IS ON THE RIGHT 3/4 MILE BEFORE ST. MARYS CITY LIMITS. WATCH FOR SIGN.

AUCTION UPDATE: October 4th. As usual, it seems, the weather calls for some possible rain showers. Maybe maybe not. Bring an umbrella to walk from your car to the sale building. If you can't haul your larger purchases due to weather or cargo space they may be left in the sale building at your own risk for pick-up at a later date by appointment. Could not get the individual listing in, due to extra time needed for unpacking and set-up, however there are enough photos to represent categories of items being sold. 

We are pleased to have been commissioned to sell furnishings and personal property from the estate of the late Michael Anderson, former Minister of the St. Marys Presbyterian Church, from the home of Martha Pickens, well known resident of Pleasants County who is moving to the Canton Ohio area where her Daughter resides, George & Mary Zivkovich having just retired from Law Practice and are building a home in Dayton Ohio near family, and some items from previous estates in storage.

THIS WILL BE QUITE A LARGE SALE CONSISTING OF A WIDE VARIETY OF MANY NICE ITEMS.

Many items will be sold in lots that could be sold individually at a smaller sale, so check out the boxes for signed art glass and other collecetibles.

COMMENTS:

I will comment periodically on some of the items we are selling. First is the "Merlin LCD" enhanced vision system. This is one serious high quality piece of equipment designed for use with many varieties of visual problems in those who read for pleasure or business purposes. It will work by itself or or in conjunction with your PC. It looks like new, and works like new. If you find units on-line for sale and the asking price is less than $1000.00, then it is probably not comparable with the one we are selling. This is "Enhanced Vision" (Huntington Beach CA). Walmart sells them for $3200.00 but they are currently out of stock. "Pricefalls" has them new on-line for $2995.00 with free shipping. THIS ONE WILL SELL AT AUCTION FOR WHATEVER IT BRINGS. By the way. It is really "neat" and has many uses even if you don't have visual problems.

My second comment is an apology to the two buyers last sale who asked the cashier: "Where is the George Washington Family" picture that was advertised?" The answer is: On a shelf in my storeroom in a box so it wouldn't get damaged before the sale. It is very old, and (as I understand it) quite rare. I forgot to take it up to the sale building.
