This week-end’s sale is truly a mid-modern lover’s paradise. This couple has amassed a beautiful and unique collection of mid-modern furniture, art, collectibles and kitsch!
As you enter through the garage, take a moment to look at the cookware and dish ware, including the like new Fire King mixing bowls and plates. This is where you will also see the first of many pieces of pottery by Sascha Brastoff including plates, ashtrays and other one of a kind type pieces. Nice quality sleeping bags and other camping equipment can be found outside as well.
As you enter the home, head straight towards the backyard. Right before going outside, to your left you will see the small guest bath with a variety of cleaning supplies and the hilarious and collectible Bully Hill signed and framed poster. Heading into the backyard you will find a large selection of outdoor furniture, small side tables, some metal decorations, umbrella stands, wheelbarrow, large storage cabinet and much more!
Heading back into the home, you will be in the TV room. Your eye will most likely be immediately drawn to the beautiful vintage rattan Frankl style furniture. The sectionals, pretzel chair, side chairs, coffee table and magazine rack are in great condition and would be a huge compliment to any mid modern home. While there don’t forget to check out the ADCOM power amp and the ADCOM preamp and the Infinite Slope brand speakers as well as the large name brand HD TV.
Heading into the living room and dining room there is lovely southwestern style furniture and unique collectible artwork and collectibles including the ceremonial headdress for men and the complete set of watercolors from New York circa 1959. This is where you will find the one of a kind collectible saguaro rib lamp with matching copper shade.
As you head towards the bedrooms you will want to check out the Jens Risom desk in the front room office. Here you will also see the vintage framed national park posters and the Central Park numbered lithograph. Heading down the hall don’t forget to stop by the bathroom for those not to be missed toiletries and then proceed to the master bedroom. Here you cannot miss the King sized Case Study bed with V-Leg mattress. This is also where you will find an assortment of yoga clothes, exercise equipment, and various other furniture pieces in addition to bedding in the bath linen closet.
When you leave, don’t forget to stop by the cashier table to look at the vintage enamel brooches, earrings, and quality watches from Tag Heuer, Movado and Longine as well as an original Kate Spade purse.
All in all, this sale is one that you should not miss as this is just a small selection of the large assortment if items for sale.
