Kenny Lindsay's AMERICAN EAGLE AUCTION & APPRAISAL COMPANY THE TOM DeLISLE COLLECTION Writer. Producer. Assistant to the Mayor of Detroit. Columinist. Pulitzer Prize and Emmy Award Winner. Detroit Sports and Military History Expert. At age 8, Tom took a ride on Gordie Howe's shoulders and four decades later spent six months with Gordie co-authoring his book. Tom shook hands with four astronauts. he wrote jokes for actor and comedian, Richard Dawson and Garry Shandling and produced a TV show for Sparky Anderson. Along with Tom Ryan, he created 'Count Scary.' He sang with John Stewart and together they started the Kingston Trio Fantasy Camp. he partied with the Kennedy clan, chatted with Richard Nixon, corresponded with Bill Buckley, produced a documentary on Fight 255, and so much more. We are nothing less than honored to be chosen by the DeLisle family to present Tom's vast collection of sports memorabilia at public auction.
