This online auction features items from Jack Thomson's personal collection. Jack Thomson is known for being a civil war collector, owner of Shipwrecks Inc, local president and national committee member of The Civil War Round Table, a Vietnam Veteran, and photographer for the army, the author of Charleston at War, and the first walking tour guide in Charleston. 

This collection has artifacts from early 1700's, The Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II and later. There are daguerrotypes (some created by the famous George S. Cook), ambrotypes, tintypes, Civil War Era currency, encased postage, stamps, correspondence, relics from two sunken blockade runners (The Georgiana and The Mary Bowers), and many rare items that are any collectors dream. Everything starts at $1 with NO RESERVE!!! The listings are not done by era so please browse through the listings carefully so you don't miss any of these war memorabilia treasures!
