This fun-filled, 4-day Kansas City house estate sale at 5527 Olive Street on Dec. 7th-10th is packed full of surprises!  Directions to this KCMO sale from I-70 & Hwy 71:  go South on Hwy 71/Bruce R Watkins Drive to 55th Street, then West on 55th Street, then 2 streets past Churchs Chicken to Olive, then South on Olive to sale.  Very little open space available inside, so definitely recommend that you bring your boxes & bags (and your favorite shopping buddy) to carry your treasures as there is no room up front for hold shelves.  Perfect sale for all of us who have those on our holiday shopping list that are a challenge to shop for-why not give them back a memory from their childhood?

Not only is this KC estate sale is full of fun, it’s also educational-anyone in the midwest ever heard of Bill Pickett (1870-1932)?  Check out this Fantastic framed Poster of Bill Pickett-World Champion “The Bull-Dogger”, a 1922 silent 5-reel western movie about this African-American rodeo star’s life filmed in Boley, OK.  Biographical movie was named The Bulldogger as it was Bill Picket who invented Bull Dogging (or Steer Wrestling).  This amazing rodeo star was featured at the 101 Ranch Show (just like Buffalo Bill’s Show) beginning in 1907, and was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1989.
