Here at Blackwell Auctions we're grateful for the opportunity to present our June 10 Americana auction, consisting of 325 estate-fresh antiques, art, jewelry, silver and more, all with a focus on the American Experience from the 18th century to the present day.

 

This month's offerings include:

 

- Never-before-offered, 120-year-old collection of American art items related to Abraham Lincoln, including items by Joseph DeCamp, Thomas Hicks and other prominent 19C artists, as well as rare cabinet photos

- Selection of Arts & Crafts period furniture, lamps and rugs, all from a collector's estate

- Early 1900s Tiffany & Co. sterling silver trophy urn from the Westminster Kennel Club

- Rare 1890s Black Americana clockwork advertising statue

- Gold pocket watch, presented to ship captain by President Teddy Roosevelt

- WWI and WWII items, including a Remington-Rand 1911, an Artillery Luger, medals, original art etc.

- Two 1930s Mills 5c slot machines: a War Eagle and a Castle Front

- Peter Max signed large Statue of Liberty, as well as dozens of other fine art pieces

- Tiffany & Co. Victorian marble mantel clock

- Signed Jackie Robinson baseball, with JSA LOA

- 1920s LAPD badge (Badge #7 ... you read that right) with matched 14k solid gold retirement badge set with diamonds, a sapphire and rubies

- First edition of The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett, with dust jacket

- Early Arts & Crafts period sterling silver trophies from Chicago golf club

- 1920s CF Martin Mandolin

- Nice selection of Native American pottery, incl Santa Clara and Acoma

- Uncut 110-card sheet of 1956 Davy Crockett orange back Topps cards

An uncut 110-card sheet of 1956 Topps Baseball, including Jackie Robinson (2), Ted Williams, Ernie Banks (2), Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron and many other Hall of Famers -- one of fewer than a dozen such uncut sheets known to exist.
