HOME SWEET HOME ESTATE SALES (951) 315-1335 ******** We have 2 sales this weekend so please check out the other sale page ****** American Professor returns home after 40 years of teaching with his collection of JAPANESE ART, BOOKS, CERAMICS, AND FURNITURE. We will have a portion of this collection at this week's sale! ******************************* This sale is a little different than most of our sales because this particular client graduated from UCLA in the late '50's. After graduating he became a professor at Kyoto Prefectural University in Japan. After teaching there for 40 years he returned home to be closer to family. He was an avid collector of Japanese ceramics, art, books, and furniture. Fortunately for us he brought some of this collection back home with him! This is what we will have for sale at this next sale: Teapots, sake cups, rice bowls, dish set, pots, ash trays, trays, sake sets, art, and more. There is also a nice large assortment of books from Japanese, Japanese history, to American history and novels. We also have to 2 Tansu's (Tansu's are traditional mobile storage cabinets or dresser's) that are vintage and original from Japan also brought back by our client. Many of the ceramic collectibles and still packaged beautifully in their original wooden or card board box! Beautiful Japanese lamps, an antique Oak dining room table from a farm in Connecticut owned by my client's parents. *We have and Gardall Safe! 4' x 2' This is a very large heavy safe. This sale is a little different than most of our sales because this particular client graduated from UCLA in the late '50's.
